Name: Butterfly Effect Age: Just over 5 Gender: Mare Pelt Color: Piebald Eye Color: Green Mane/Tail Color: Piebald Pics: Why She's Here: Butterfly Effect was rescued from a ranch where she was let out with any stallion and bred, and bred, and bred, she was a skeloten of a horse and she couldn't nurse her yearling. She was taken and fed some high protien food, and lush hay. Her coat was matted and her mane and tail were short and un-kept. Her winter hair hadn't shed yet and she needed- de-wormed. She's been with us for about 8 months and she is now the horse you see in the picture. Who knew this could have such an affect?

Jen Cagle browsed the pens of the Rescue, taking pity on the horses in them. The Vanner mare was gorgeous, and after a few minutes of watching her, Jen could tell she had potential. She went to the office door and knocked on it lightly.

The mare's foot long forelock wafted as she raised her head to stare at Jen. She nickered a greeting. Jake got up from the couch in the office and opened the door.Jake here, how may I help ya? He asked

Yes, I do. We currently have a Vanner at Crystal. We also have Fresians, Thoroughbreds, Welsh Ponies... Jen trailed off for a moment, folding her hands in her lap.Pretty much anything you can think of.

Are you used to high-stung and hard-headed horses? Have you ever been unseated without getting back on? He asked.I'm sorry, I just want this girl to go to the right home. He said with a sigh.

Jen nodded.Yeah, we have another Vanner, Latcho Drum, and he's a really stubborn. We got a few high strung horses over at Crystal, too. She paused for a moment, thinking his last question through for a moment. What kind of rider would she be if she didn't get back on? That was the only way to overcome fear, to get right back on-if you weren't injured.I've gotten thrown a few times, but I've never been injured bad enough to stop me from hopping right back on. And I understand that you want her to get a good home.
