Emilie walked into the mall through the main doors, avoiding the many people walking
through here as best she could. Her hazel eyes were rimmed with eye liner and a light
dusting of pink eye dust under each eye, the young girl was wearing an extremely short
pleated black mini skirt, and a tight black and red hoodie with cat ears on the hood that fit
her body quite well, showing off her delicate figure. She also wore black converse with
pink stars on them. A few wolf whistles followed her as a group of boys passed and
Emilie cringed away from them as though they had tried to hit her. She wasn’t sure the
skirt was really the best thing to have worn, but she only had one pair of jeans with her,
and those were soaked. Considering her trip here had been one of walking the rest of the
way in the cold rain after the taxi broke down. She sighed, and adjusted the clip with two
cherries on it in her wavy black locks. Continuing on her way she spotted an almost full
coffee shop and walked in. Reveling in the warmth as she sat herself at the counter and
placed her 'Invader Zim' shoulder bag on the floor next to her, as well as the suitcase
full of her clothes and such, searching inside for some money. Finally she found some
and handed it to a waitress,''U-Um... can I have some hot chocolate please?'' she
asked softly in her shy voice. As the waitress walked off to get her drink, she sunk her
head onto the table, and yawned, she felt so tired, but she mustn’t fall asleep. She still had
to wander around for another half an hour later to find a place to stay. And if she could
not... she didn’t think about that part, instead she focused upon the hot chocolate now in
front of her, and carefully she took a sip of the hot drink.

Brown eyes searched the mall.
No one here that I know,
Joe thought absentmindedly.
He wore a light bluish gray bucket hat, black jeans and a white tee.
On his feet he wore plain silver and white Nike's.
He walked into a coffee shop, gaze traveling. He finally found an open seat, next to a brunette female.
I'll have a mint fruppicino..
He said to the waitress, yawning. He took the drink and took a quick sip after paying.

She jumped slightly as the boy sat next to her, but quickly calmed again and took another
sip from her hot chocolate. She watched him absent mindedly over the rim of her cup,
before putting the drink down and shivering. She didn’t want to go wandering around out
there again. But really she had no choice. Emilie didn’t like the stares she was getting
from a group in the corner of the café, so she tried to take her mind off it and turned
slightly towards the boy and spoke up quietly.''Hey, I'm Emilie...'' she said, the
young girl wasn’t good at starting conversations, but at least she had had enough
confidence to even speak.

Joe jumped, falling out of his seat.
Oh...erm...hi?
He said, blushing as he sat back in the chair.

''Ahh! Sorry! Sorry!'' Emilie said, flustered that shed made him fall and blushed
and calmed herself for a second before looking back.''U-um.. are you okay?'' she
asked tentatively, referring to him just falling of the chair, she would feel bad if shed
made him hurt himself, but she hadn’t thought that there would be someone who would
have reacted the same as her in that situation.

I'm fine...
Joe said softly, stareing into her eyes for a moment.
He smiled, retrieving his hat and placing it back on his head.
And to respond to your name, Emilie, my name is Joe,
He said, taking another sip of his drink.

Her lips curled into a small smile as he spoke, and she took another sip of her hot
chocolate and then replaced the mug on the saucer the waitress had brought it over on.
''Nice to meet you'' she said softly, resting her green eyes on Joe for a few seconds,
before catching herself looking at him and stared back at her drink.

Joe said, smiling his adorable smile.

She returned his smile, her pretty features literally on display as she did so. And still
smiling to herself she turned back to her drink, it had cooled slightly since she had first
got it. And since then she'd got a little warmer since she had first arrived.''... do you
live in this town?'' she asked hesitantly after another sip of her cocoa, and rested her
green eyes on him.

Actually I'm only here to visit my cousin,
He said smiling.
I might end up staying.
Joe smiled.
I'm helping Jenny with her singing and song writing.

Emilie nodded as he spoke, and thought over what he said, and then realized that she
didn’t know who Jenny was. Or did she? Her friend from her old school had kept in
touch with her, Charlie. He had said something about a 'cute girl called Jenny' he
had met. Could this be her? She put the question to the test ''Is that Jenny Smith? The
girl your talking about?'' she asked and smiled softly, so as not to make the question
sound like she was interrogating him.

Yeah, she's my cousin...sadly.
Joe said, then smiled.
We goof off to much to get any good songs written. One time I wrote a rap to the Muffin Man Song.
Joe crossed his eyes.
It was soooooo stupid.

Emilie giggled as he exaggerated the 'so' and grinned.''You sound like you have a lot
of fun'' she said smiling, and took a sip from her cocoa and kept it in her hands, taking
another drink from the chocolate liquid, and put it back on the counter again.

Joe exclaimed, taking out his cell. He clicked a few buttons, and came to a video.
