Andrea carried her little foal to the vet office as fats as she could. She went up to the check in lady."Hi, my foal just pulled her tenon, I need to see the vet immidiatly." She was worried about the little foal.

Sam poked her head out of her office."Bring 'er in," she said hurriedly. Quickly, she and Jay set up the checkup room for surgery just incase.

Dream squealed when Andrea left her and she tried standing up. But the confined space in the truck wouldn't allow it. She grunted and fell back down, then waited for Andrea to come back. Where were they? |

Andrea hurridly brought her into the office. She gently sat her down at the table, and waited for Sam.

Sam checked it, feeling it softly."How did it happen?" she asked. SHe needed every detail so she knew how serious it was.

"Well, she was running, and then my dog went to run with her, so she thought it was a race. I saw she was about to do something more seriuos, so I called my dog to stop, and he did. She didn't notice until about a stride later, and then she hobbled over to me, and I found she had pulled it."

Sam touched the tendon softly and frowned."Hmm I think a relaxinat shot will be needed, and the it will need to be braced and wrapped," she told Jay, her assiatant even though he was young. A nod and he got the stuff ready.

Sam shook her head."Its not too bad. You were right to bring her in. If you had waited like a day or so, we may have had to do surgery," she said, taking the syringe from Jay. Cleaning the area with alchol, she carefully stuck her and admisistered the liquid. THe muscle should soon relax so Sam splintted it and wrapped the bandage around the splint.

Andrea felt a little better.At least I did one thing right. she thought, seeing Dream wince at the sight of the siringe.

Sam smiled softly and took the filly off the table, steadying her on teh floor."She will be a little teatery from the muscle relaxiant but thats normal," she said calmly.

Sam rubbed her chin."Keep an eye on her for awhile, keep her hydrated, and no cantering or galloping," she said sternly. Jay stroked the filly's cheek softly, his eyes looking into her's.

"Okay," Andrea said, looking at Jay looking at the filly."Um, well, when I found her, as you can see, she's malnourished, so I am helping her with that, also I think she's premature from her teeth, and she was abused. Can you do a check-up on her to see if she has anything else going on with her, but only if you have time....?" Andrea said, looking to Sam.

Sam smiled and nodded, nodding to Jay. Jay led the filly over and got shoots ready."She should get all her shots, just incase she didn't get them," she said.
