Aidan sighed and let Dr. Peper dance on his own, watching the puppies. He lowered himself easily to the floor so that the parrot wouldn't be shaken or anything. He studied the puppies and then looked up at the parrot.What do ya think? Did you get your exercise for the day? |

Dr Pepper looked at him and blinked his eyes.Let's go to the bar Polly and get some beers, he sqwuacked, bobbing his head. The puppies looked up at Aidan and barked before going back to playing.

He smiled gently and shook his head, stifling a laugh. Standing up once more, he walked over to Dr. Pepper's perch. He held out his hand for the parrot to climb on and then straightened his arm out and held him near his perch so he could slimb on. He checked his food and his water and made sure the dogs and cats had food and water as well. He cleaned out some of the cages and then started herdigng the puppies back inside their cages. |

Dr Pepper watched as Aidan took care of the dogs, grooming himself. THe puppies thought it was a game and began to run in all directions, their long ears flopping. They were Basset pups and liked to play.

He groaned as they started running off, and he managed to swoop only one of them up. He placed him into the pen and then looked at the others scattering. Furrowing his brow, he looked around. Finding the squeaky toy, he sat upon the ground and squeezed it, dragging it back and forth, hoping to lure them over. |

The pups halted and stared at the squeky toys. They went after it, barking and jumping into his lap.

He smiled as they stopped, and then gradually made his way backwards and to the pen. He tossed the toy inside and then waited for them to hopefully chase it. |

THe pups ran in, growling and fighting over the toy. As soon as they learned they were tricked, they laid on teh floor pf the pen and watched Aidan with narrowed eyes.

He closed the pen behind them and saw their eyes. He laughed gently and then shrugged.I'm sorry pups...but you had to go in somehow.. He said. Climbing over the penfence, he situated himself in the center of the pen, away from all the newspapers. He smiled and looked at them, wondering if they were still mad at him. |

He laughed as they all jumped on him, and his thoughts went to Ebony. Where was the little puppy anyway?Not all at once pups.. He said with a laugh and then rolled one over, rubbing his stomach. |

THe pups began to yawn and curl up on teh floor, falling asleep.
