A man led the horses in. Three seemed to be noble beasts, coming straight from a fairy tale. The palimino seemed to be a speck of dust compared to them and she acted that way, scared of the other three and staying way in the back. Poor beast.

Gerard saw the dapple mare being led in and watched silently before following. He went up to the man after studying the mare closer and asked,How much for the dapple mare?

Gerard gestured to Stallion.The black. He watched the stallions movements for a moment before turning back to the man.

Ahhh you mean Stallion. Thats acutally his name. He is a sorral. Also, he is $10,000, he rumbled, giving the kitten a piece of meat. She mewed silently and took it daintly.

Gerard nodded.Sorry, must be the light. I guess I'll take the mare and Stallion. He said, pulling out the prewritten check and filling in the amount.

The man nodded, walking into the corral. He whistled and all the horses cam eover, the palimino staying in teh back. He clipped lead ropes on Saga and Stallion's halters, leading them back.They are good horses, he said.

The man nodded and watched the two horses go, still playing with his kitten.

Gerard loaded the horses and drove away, back to Crystal Stables.
