Sasha stood and followed Alyssa to meet Miranda. A moment of thought was given as to who Miranda might be, perhaps Alyssa's sister, or other relative.

Alyssa walked to a round pen outside, where a young blonde woman worked with a horse. The poor beast's hide was covered in scars and some were half healed. Talking in a sweet and gentle voice, the woman tried to touch the horse but he shied away from her and ran around the ring, the woman watching him where ever he was. Alyssa leaned on the fence and smiled slightly, shading her eyes. That was Miranda working with Jackson, an abused horse they rescued.

Sasha watched the , assuming it was Miranda, working with the horse. The horse had scars, more than likely previously abused. She put her arms on the top rail of the fence and watched the horse's movements.

The stallion reared up, screaming and his hooves slicing the air. Moving back siwftly, Miranda waited until he was on the before she approached him again, cooing softly to him sweet words. Jackson jerked his head high, eyes wild, but didn't bolt or rear. His sides quivered softly but Miranda merely looked at him eyes, her won blue shining with love and sweetness. That, was why she was the riding instructor. Alyssa would get sick of the kids and send the mall home where Miranda sympathized with them and helped them out, like another mom to them.

Sasha watched the stallion as he reared and Miranda calming him down. She seemed to be more of a lesson teacher, she had more patience than what she had seen so far from Alyssa.

Jackson looked at her and suddenly pressed his forehead against her chest, snorting softly. His eyes were sad but trusting as Miranda stroked his ears, cooing softly. Alyssa put two fingers to her lips and gave a sharp whistle. Jackson didn't stir but Miranda looked over, waving slightly. Scratching his ear one more time, Miranda trudged over, her stride long and she soon was over.Hey Alyssa. Whats up? she asked, glancing at Sasha.Nothing much. Meet Sasha. She isthe new ownerof the joint stable, Alyssa said, stretching.

She watched the horse intently as it calmed down, listening to Alyssa speak. Her eyes traveled from the horse to the person approaching her, making it over to the fence at a quick pace. Sasha nodded at Alyssa's statement and offered her hand to shake.Nice to meet you, you must be Miranda.

Miranda took it delicately, a smile spreading across her face.Nice to meet you Sasha and yeah, I am Miranda, she said, laughing softly. Her hands were soft but the base of her fingers had slight calluses, the calluses themselves worn down from working.

As she and Miranda shook hands, she felt callouses. She could easily tell that this was a woman who worked hard for what she had. Sasha admired that in a person.I'm the new owner of Crystal Stables. I can tell that you work hard, and I think I'm really going to enjoy working with both of you.

A grin came to her face.I am glad you are in our partnership now. And I do work hard, ever since I was a child, she said. Her eyes were bright blue and her hair was a pale blonde. Would you belive that she worked hard when she looked like someone from a magazine? Two teenagers walked out of one of the barns, each leading a horsethat was fully tacked. They were Miranda's adopted childen, Sarah and Keith.Hi mom! Hi Alyssa, they both yelled, waving to Miranda and Alyssa.

Excellent. she said. Her cell phone vibrated with a text message from her friend, Jen. With a word of apology, she flipped it open and read it.Ah. I'm sorry, but I really have to go. One of my friends is having problems with one of the horses we're working with, and she really needs me there. It was nice meting both of you though.

Miranda smiled and nodded, turning around and walking back to Jackson. The stallion weaved his head happily, nodding at her. Miranda laughed and scratched his ears, talking to him gently. Alyssa looked at Sasha, nodded also in a goodbye, and went after Keith and Sarah, demanding to know why they had two of thenew horses.
