Kyle drove up and feed his horses and took them out side to walk around nad nocked on the house.

Melanie wasn't in the house. She was doing things she wasn't supposed to with a knee that wasn't fully healed yet. But it was feeling better, and she had created her own brace to ride with. Caleb had been uneasy about it, but she had pushed and pushed, and he had finally relented and let her exercise one thoroughbred per day. She extended the bay colt...asking him for all he had as they reached the final furlong. |

Kyle looked back and saw her and ran to her.He had a trailer and someting else for her but was not going to say anything about it.He smiled and said"Hello hunny"He kissed her.

She had halted the colt, and when she saw Kyle, she had dismounted, and Caleb took the horse gratefully. Something to distract her from riding. And he dind't want to watch them. He shook his head and walked away, taking care of the equine. She returned Kyle's kiss easily, her eyes shining.Hey..how are you? She was a bit breathless and her cheeks were flushed, but she still looked pretty. She waited for his reply. |

Hearing his question, she looked down at it. The black brace was still wrapped tightly around it, and she still held a slight limp to her step, but it was getting better. She smiled up at him.It's not a hundred percent..but it's geting there. SHe said honestly. He looked keyed up about something. |

She watched him walk off, her brow furrowing. Had she said something to make him angry? SIghing softly, she turned to go clean out the stalls, but then heard footsteps. Turning around slowly, she caught sight of the puppy and furrowed her brow once more, taking him when Kyle put him in her arms. It was an adorable thing, but why would he just give her a puppy without any other words? When she saw the ring, and watched him go down on one knee, her mouth started opening slowly. Her eyes held surprise and shock, but when he asked her, she was able to find her voice.K-kyle? Are you serious? SHe had to make sure..was this just a game? She held the puppy close, wanting to know. |

As he spoke, she listened silently, her mouth still slightly agape. WHen he finished, a smile appeared upon her features and she nodded her head. She looked down at him, and nodded once more.I will...I love you.. She said, small tears gathering in her eyes. But the smile was there, and it never faded. |

She smiled as he did, and watched him with her gentle eyes as he stood. When he wrapped his arms around her, she sighed happily and returned the embrace, and the kiss. Was this really happening? She had put the puppy down, and now Charley had bounced over to play with the smaller golden retriever. Jenny was close behind, sniffing the baby and instantly becoming its mother. |

She pulled away gently and then thought a moment. The yearling really needed to be worked with.I need to work with Treasure....she's a little feisty. She said with a smile and then waited for his next words. This couldn't be happening. |
