Duane slid to a stop at Livie's command, then rushed into the freezing water. Live slid off of him, walking out of the water with a flabberghasted look on her face.

Darren had to stop himself laughing as he saw Livie coming out of the water drenched, but then he felt Wolf jump forward after the gelding, finally fed up with not moving quickly enough for his liking. Darren lent back and put his heels down, just managing to stop in the knee deep water and to walk the stallion out of the water. He jumped off Wolf, and lead him over to Livie, and he searched in the saddle bag and pulled out the sleeping bag and unraveled it.''Here, wrap yourself in this, you'll stay warmer'' then something occurred to him and he started talking again ''How wet are you?'' he asked tentatively, if she was completely soaked through then he unfortunately didn’t have any spare clothes with him for her, so they have to ride back so she could get home.

I--It's f-f-f-fine.... She shivered. Duane walked out of the water, and gave her his,"Momma, I sorry" look. Kiss up... She growled.

He nodded, even though Livie looked pretty cold, and rolled back up the sleeping bag and put it back where it had been. He pulled himself back up into the saddle of his stallion, who was chewing on the bit in boredom.''Do you want to keep going for a bit, or head back?'' he asked, looking up at the sky. It had been late afternoon when he left but now the sky was starting to fade to dark blue and purple. Darren wasn’t going to be impressed with riding around in the dark.

It's up to you. I think Duane can use a little more exercise... Livie commented, patting the gelding's side. Otherwise he'll turn inta a fattyboy, huh hunn? She said as Duane kissed her cheek.

''Well, so could Wolf'' he laughed and nudged Wolf forwards into a walk, looking back over his shoulder to see if she was going to follow him and the Warmblood stallion who was trying to take the bit from Darren, eager to get on the move again.

Livie mounted Duane quickly. Come on boy, She whispered in the Arabian's ear. Duane reared, before taking off. Livie slid him to a stop again. You are intoxicated with the influberance of your own abocity. She growled.

He followed after Livie and grinned as she heard what she said ''A lotta' long words there'' he said, looking away and tilting his head to the side as he gazed out across the lake, its surface rippling a breeze, the moon reflected in its surface as it began to appear in the light blue sky.

It means he's drunk on his brains, Livie said grinning.

Darren laughed and asked his stallion to trot, but he objected, and halted on the spot. Wolf started backing up, pulling on his bit, Darren made a ''ch ch ch'' noise and the stallion jumped forward again, and Darren again asked him for trot and this time the stud obliged. Trotting forward with his head tucked up neatly, his hooves making imprints in the wet sand at the lakes edge.

Duane snorted loudly. Wassa matter? Olivia cooed, dismounting. Duane snorted again, stomping his hooves. Coum dion du shine.

Darren again head Livie talking, and he tried to halt Wolf. But the stallion was set on continuing forward. He clenched his teeth on the bit and tanked on at the waters edge. ''Oh no you don’t!'' he said firmly. He applied more pressure to the reins and the stallion stopped, though he felt ready to explode with energy. Darren turned his head to Livie, to see what had caused them to stop.
