Melanie drove up easily in her black tuck, parking the trailer near the barn. She had already bedded down two stalls and gotten them ready, since she knew she was going to buy two. but they were Kyle's now. She had seen the look on his face when he had said goodbye, and she had felt extremely bad for him. So they were his still. She unloaded Kisses first and led the pretty mare into her stall, letting her get settled. She was more careful with Black and talked to him soothingly while leading him into his own stall. He was a bit wired, but he calmed once inside. She had undid their halters and hung them up, and now got the wheelbarrow and wheeled it into her trailer, cleaning it out. |

Kyle drove up adn parked by her and got out and asked if he could board another horse here?"

SHe looked out from what she was doing and nodded at Kyle's question.Of course..just pick a stall...She offered and kept cleaning out her trailer. |

Kyle smiled and siad"thanks " and wen to get his horse out and and lead her to a stall and put shreds in it and feed her nad watered her.He came back out nad siad"hello "

She nodded and offered him a smile, then finished cleaning out the trailer. She pushed the wheelbarrow out and kept it from overturning. She was just about to go empty it when she heard his voice behind her. She straightened and smiled, running a hand across her forehead.Hey... It was almost like a sigh of relief. Things were going well now, and she knew she owed some of the credit to Kyle. Without his board money, she'd had been in trouble. She waited for his next words, admiring him from where she stood. |

She pulled her basbeall cap further down on her head as he spoke and shrugged.Alright..what is it? She wondered and then followed him to his trailer. She had no idea what would be stuck in a trailer, but she guessed it could happen. |

There stoode a thoroughbred mare and there in the back where 2 arabian white mares.Kyle smiled and said"well I guess I found what was stuck,but there not mine".

She looked in the trailer as he spoke about the horses that were in there. What did he mean they weren't his? She looked back at him in confusion, and then back at the horses. One was obviously a thoroughbred, and a racer at that..but Kyle didn't race. So..did that mean? She looked over a thim in surprise and deight, and before she knew what she was doing, her arms were around him and she was hugging him thanks. She let go quickly, still unaware of what she had really done.Oh my goodness Kyle! Thank you so much! They're beautiful! |

She looked back at him, her whole face set into a smile. She couldn't do enough to thank him.You don't know how much this means to me! She told him excitedly. She suddenly knew what she could do. She looked back at him, and grabbed his hand gently, pulling him to the barn.I have something for you as well. She told him happily and stopped at the stalls where Butterfly Kisses and Color Me Black were. Instead of her name on the name plate for their owner, Kyle's name lay instead. She waited for him to react. |

Hearing his words, she laughed happily, and then felt the kiss on her cheek. It didn't mean anything...probably just a friendly way of him showing thanks. So she didn't make anything of it. She smiled over at him and then found herself staring into his eyes.I'm glad you're happy..and thank you for my gift... She told him somewhat breathlessly. What was going on with her lately? |

She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, smiling at his words. Hearing the question, she turned towards him fully, her brow furrowed.Of course...what is it? She wondered if he wanted to board another horse, or something else like that. She waited patiently for the question. |
