Josh smiled gently and touched the mare's cheek softly, pulling it away incase she tried to nip him. Again he touched her cheek but for alittle bit longer. When he pulled back his hand again, he went around her to her side, looking her over.
Your a good girl. Such a good little girl. You will like everyone. There is Sam, and Jay, and Aidan, he got hurt by his dad alot, and there is Jake, Sam's husband. They are all nice and like horses, especially Jay and Sam, he crooned, fiddling with a burr in her mane.

Ginger was alert when he first touched her, but she allowed it she knew that she'd have to trust atleast one person if not two. She stretched her fround leg out and scratched it. There was dirt caked into her coat and she looked horrible but it didn't both her much. When her rubbed her cheek again she let a soft whicker escape her velvet.

She looked horrible but she felt fine, as far as she was concerned she was in perfect health. The wind brought dust in the air and she coughed after inhailing it then shook her tiara getting ride of the smell. She turned her head around so she could see Josh and she listened to him. The men outside the ring were hoping that he'd buy her and they could get out of here. Banner whipped around the opposite side that Josh was on and she only moved her banner slow and carefully on the side Josh was no not trying to hit him with it.

Flicking the burr away from them, Josh looked at teh mare, stroking her fetlock. He murmered something in Native American, his eyes gentle. Carefully he began to walk away heading for the gate. He stopped halfway there and looked back at her, saying something in the same langue. With most wild horses, it worked. Or it just calmed them because they were words. Josh never knew. But, he kept speaking in Native Americna.
Come on little flower. Shh its ok. Come with me flower one, its ok, he said carefully.

Ginger enjoyed having him with her, he made her feel safe. She loved when he petted her. When he finished stroking her forlock she lipped at his hand playfully. The men were practically dieing outside the corral waiting for something to happen although they couldn't believe that he'd gotten through to her. They'd always gotten through to her with whips and frightening techniuqes she she had scares to prove it, but most of them were covered up by her coat.

She wtched him speak and she felt confused but at peace. Once he moved away towards the gate she dropped her tiara and only watched. She thought he was going to leave her here all along and with these bunch of immature wannabe cowboys. Seeing him stop and turned back she trotted to him and rested her muzzle on his shoulder trying to show her devotion to him. She shut her eyes for a moment to the words, feeling at peace.

Josh scratched her forehead, smiling softly, Gradually, hsi hand came down to her soft nose and scratched it too before he began to walk towards teh gate but this time, he walked backwards, talking to her softly. He carefully felt where he was going and kept at a slow pace, not wanting to fall.
In hsi truck a dog popped her head out and yawned, watching Josh walk backwards with a horse following him. Linny yawned again and hopped oout the window, a little white blob flying. She finally felt the ground under her paws. she trotted over, watching curiously.

She walked foward a little so he could reach her forhead, she shut her eyes again the mare was tired of being afraid but she was alert. When he moved down to her velvet she lipped at his finger playfully again, she always did when anybody touched her velvet she lipped never bit unless she was in danger. As he backed up she followed willingly, her eyes on him.

Auds flicked forward at the sound of something, she didn't know what it was but was alert as much as she could be. She looked around Josh to see the white dog running toward them, the dog looked like a wolf to her and she'd associated with wolves before. She took her nose and pushed Josh off towards the side and barred her teeth at the dog, pretecting Josh like he was a member of her herd. She snorted and stamped a hoof infront of it trying to scare it away.

Josh laughed softly, rubbing her neck.Shh girl shh. Thats Linny. She won't bite you. Even if she tried, it woudl jsut be a poke,/b] he said calmly, scratchign her ear. He was wondering how she would be with dogs and he foudn out. They would have to be careful, especially when she meets Lady. That dog scared anything.
Linny yipped shrilly and scratched her ear, nibbling on her rump when it itched. Her eyes looked up at the mare, who was still thinking she was evil and she rolled over, whinning. Her paws slapped at teh air and she began to pant, staring up at the horse.

Ginger snorted she she watched the dog. Josh's words hit her ears and she turned to him, listenign to him tell her that it was ok but she wouldn't let her guard down around dogs, or wolfs. She walked over to where she pushed Josh, nickering softly to him. she dropped her tiara down as her way of sorry for displeasing him.

Ginger wanted some grass but there was only dirt and sand here. She wondered how they were getting home but she waited for Josh. right now at this moment she felt like she'd do anything for him she never wanted to displease Josh she hoped to make him happy. one of the men asked outsie of the ring You buying her or not? they just wanted to be doing soemthing else but she wanted to spend as much time as she could with him. Ginger put her head against his chest and closed her eyes hoping to be pet.

Jos petted her and glared at teh men.Oh course I am buying her. Treating her like this is worse then worshiping the devil! She is a mess! You are lucky I may not turn you in for cruelty, he snapped, Linny bouncing up and growling at the men, her tiny teeth sharper then they looked.

Ginger let a sigh of happiness out when she was being pet. She pused a little more letting him know she was still here while he was yelling at the men. auds flicked back so she wouldn't hear the yelling as bad. When her auds flicked back she heard the growling and her eyes shot open, but she was plased by the sight, the dog was growling at the men like it was protecting them.

Ginger moved her head up and rested it on Josh's shoulder as she nickered happily. Ginger had finally found some peace in the human world, she felt like maybe she'd find her own herd at the place josh talked about with all of the other horses. she couldn't wait to see other horses, she missed the sight of horses. Ginger could smell their scents in the air but they weren't visible to her, how she missed seeing other horses.

Linny began to yip, jumping in the air as she did and bouncing at the men. Her eyes were narrowed and her lips were curled back. Men who were mean were her enemies, not matter what. Josh glared at them and opened teh gate, slipping his hand into her halter gently. As he walked forward, he urged her to keep going, heading to his trailer.I will deal with you in a second, he growled at the men, Linny growling at them furiously.

Ginger followed barring her teeth at the men. as he put his hand in her halter she felt like refusing but she knew she'd be going to a better place. her orbs returned to their normal color noe trace of white was there. She followed her pace quickening to keep up with Josh's big steps. She kept her head at an even level for Josh so hia arm wouldn't have to move all around.

Seeing a trailer She felt liked she wanted to pull away but she couldn't, she just couldn't. She didn't want to displease Josh, she wanted to make him happy. She tensed up and was sure that Josh could feel it, but she wasn't ashamed to be afraid. as they neared she was relieved some that there was lights in the trailer, and all the windows were open which light filtered in and made it easier for her to go in. Ginger willingly walked up the ramp and into the trailer then waited for Josh.

Josh rubbed teh mare's neck and led her into a stall shaft like thing, clipping her halter with the lead there. A stallion snorted softly in there and stuck his head out the window to look over at her. It was Holly.
As Josh walked out of the trailer, his face was in a scowl.Now, for you.. gentlemen, he said crisply.I want to buy the mare. I will be informing the horse rescue about how you treated the poor thing or I will deal with you myself. His knuckles cracked as he clentched his hands into a fist. He was a puny pushover. He was a true blue blooded cowboy who knew how to fight.

The trailer was sort of light but not that light. She kept tense as she was led into the stall. white entraced her orbs yet again as she stood patiently and awaited for the cross tie to be clipped on. She turned to look over at the stallion before putting her ears back and smelling him to see if he should be a threat ot her. She saw the bucket of water infront of her and dunked her muzzle in filled up her mouth full of water before swallowing.

She looked back up at the stallion and stamped an impatient hoof while she waited to be let out. She was frightful, but for Josh's sake she'd bear it. The men shook their heads and wanted no part of him dealing with them. She all jumped in their truck and sped off. Then their's truck broke down so they didn't get far but they all came back and said that they were sorry.
