After Nick had exercised Neo, lightly and couldn't think of a more relaxing way of passing time than hacking out along the bridle path. He sighed and patted the gelding's neck. He wasn't the most common cloured horse, as Nick hadn't seen that many Blue roans around. He felt it was better to have a bit of originality. Rather than have a typical bay or black horse. Nick wasn't too keen on having a thoroughbred either. Too wacky. He laughed at his own chioce of description. He hadn't owned Neo for long, but the gelding seemed to be able to do everything asked of him. So he refused a few jumps now and then, but every horse did that. He smiled and patted the horse's neck again.. He started to twist Neo's mane around his index finger, and smiled.

The track was quiet, and the soft chirrup of nearby birds was accompanied by the slow and steady beat of Neo's steps. He let the gelding's head drop slightly as he relaxed his muscles. At that moment, the horse pricked his ears attentively and brought his neck higher. Spinning in his seat, Nick turned to face an onward coming pair. Cursing under his breath as he moved Neo into a passing point as quickly as possible. There was a girl about his age, riding a Mustang, and another figure (who appeared to be male) was riding a black, Thoroughbred stallion. Nick would have rolled his eyes, if it wasn't for the fact that the stallion looked like it was heading straight for the hedge ahead. Biting his lip, he realized that there wasn't much for him to do except try and follow the pair.

He clicked his tongue, and moved Neo into a trot, then a canter. He decided to stay at a suitable pace, intead of startling the horse, who looked as though he didn't have a clue where he was going. He sat tight in the saddle, which had been Neo's previous owner's, and slowed down to a walk as he neared the riders."Hello?" His tone was hesitant, and he brought the gelding up alongside the Paint horse. He wasn't a very confident rider at the moment, as he had only recently started up again. Therefore he wasn't too keen on being near the stallion, as he didn't know how Neo would react.

Tatiana turned, the sound of another horse coming towards her and David from behind. She spotted the quarter horse and paused her movement, Archer turning his head round as well. She saw the boy atop the blue roan start speaking as he drew up along side her and the mustang.''Oh, Hey!'' she said and smiled happily. It was worth coming out today, she'd actually met some new people. She didn’t feel comfortable with the uneasy silence that followed and so filled it with her voice again.

''I'm Tatiana White. But just call me Tat for short'' the girl said, and pushed her light ginger bunches back over her shoulder. Archer snorted at the new horse on the scene, shifting his weight as it stopped next to him, and keeping his hazel eye trained on him.''This is David'' she said, and indicated with a nod towards the other boy on the stallion.

He grinned, friendly personality kicking in. He nodded polietly at the boy on the stallion. He looked as though he was dressed for a show. Nick wore a red and blue silk covering his skull helmet. He wore simpple combats, as he had never been a fan of tight-fitting jhodpurs. As far as he knew, Neo didn't need a strong bit. His previous owner hadn't used one on him, so Nick wasn't one to contradict. Clearing his head of thoughts, he thought it best to introduce himslef."I'm Nick" He smiled at the two and loosened Neo's reins slightly, so that the gelding had a comfortable length to work on. He didn't know that many people in New Hope. Even though he had become friends with Lily, he needed to know more people, so he wasn't out riding all alone. Every day. That would be slightly sad. Concious of the sudden silence "That was a close call. What happened?" His tone held a slight sense of worry to it. After all, the incident could have been disastrous.

David frowned slightly." Um I wanted my stallion here to go faster so I whipped him. He stopped and reared. Then he bolted on me. He got almost ahead of Tat. Then he moved to try and cut them off. He is blind which I forgot all about. But I still ride him. But I had lost my reins. He'll be fine in an hour or so" said David calmly.
Allornothing stood panting slightly. He snorted a greeting to the quarter horse though. He stood calmly and his eyes became droopy. He was tired now.

Nick nodded in understanding and looked at the stallion. It was panting heavily, and looked like all it wanted to do was lie down. He bit his lip If it were me, i would never hit a blind horse. It could obviously become agitated at not knowing what hit it... He shook the accusations from his head and smiled at the pair again."I haven't been riding for long today, so do you mind if I carry on with you two? It's just I don't want to interupt anything." His gaze shifter slowly from Tatiana to David. He allowed the corner of his lips to quirk up into a smile. He looked down at Neo, and the gelding let out a long breath, obviously with boredom. Nick wanted to bite David.

She nodded when David was explaining the situation that had happened mere moments ago. Then she turned in her English saddle to face the boy on the quarter horse.''Lets keep going then'' she said and smiled at Nick, before looking towards the blind thoroughbred. He looked well past it, it was hard to think he was thoroughbred if he was tired now, but maybe he was just out of practise? She turned Archer in a circle and started towards a gate by the hedge. She stopped beside it and asked the mustang to do a side-pass, then she unlocked the gate and opened it. She walked through, and pushed the gate enough so that it stayed where it was. In this field some cattle were grazing, Tatiana eyed them for a moment before looking back to the others.''C'mon then! Don't want this lot escaping!''

Nick smiled and nodded, causing his hemet to slide down in front of his eyes. He pushed it back up his forehead and gave an embarrassed smile. He kicked neo forward lightly, passing through the gate and swerving to avoid Tatiana. He smiled as he passed her and glanced behind to see David following close behind. He moved Neo onwards to put a small distance between him and the stallion. Besides, he didn't know if Neo kicked yet. He shrugged away his thoughts and carried on through the gateway. Stopping to wait for Tatiana to close the gate, he turned Neo to face the pair.

David easily rode behind them. He came through the gate but Allornothing was wanting to take off again. His ears were back against his skull. David didn't notice anything. Then he moved his head to the side slightly wanting to stop quickly and go up onto his hind legs.
David held the reins with a bit less slack so the horse could walk easily with the other. But he halted the stallion for a minute.
Allornothing snorted angrily and wanted so badly for his rider to fall off of him. His eyes stared at the ground. He was getting more angry by the second. He raised his head and snorted again trying to get them all to start walking again. David frowned and tried to calm his horse down but he had no way of doing that.

Tatiana looked back and saw David had come through the gate at last. She turned Archer back and then closed the gate behind them all. She asked Archer to walk again, and the mustang did so, ears pricked in the direction of the cattle that were now watching the group of riders. Archer jumped as one let out a 'mooing' noise, and she stroked his neck ''Easy boy..'' she whispered soothingly. Tatiana check the others were following, and as she did she noticed David was having a bit of trouble with Allornothing. But he would be able to handle it, since David was riding a stallion, he should be able to handle anything a horse could throw at him. She sighed and looked back ahead, and gave Archer a kick and sent him forward into a trot along the hedge line, the geldings tail swishing to and fro.

David took more reins into his hands and kicked his horse. Allornothing got into a trot right away. He followed the other horses. He hated being so close to geldings. But he had to be close to them. So he snorted.
David frowned but kept going with his horse. He knew sooner or later he would take his horse back home and get his other horse Dangerous Death which was easier to handle.
Allornothing just suddenly calmed down. He whickered as if to say he was having fun. David smiled a bit now. He patted his horse's neck.

He smirked slightly as the stallion snorted and laughed to himself.Is it just me, or does it look like David can't handle that horse. He turned his head towards the source of the noise, and ended up staring at one of the cattle. He felt like telling Dave that he should be able to handle the stallion. That's why Nick hadn't bought one himself. He carried on walking next to the other gelding and decided to strike up a conversation.So where do you keep your horses at the moment? The question wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, so either Tatiana or David could speak up.

David frowned." Right now my horse stays in my trailer in my sisters drive way. Its the only place for him right now. I don't have the money to board him up anywhere just yet. I have another stallion back in my trailer but he doesn't get all high strung like this one" said David. He could handle his horse now since it wanted to follow. Allornothing snorted happily. He trotted behind the other horses. But he really didn't like being around geldings.

Ooh, so...Does that mean you have two horses then. I can only afford to keep Neo somewhere because I have only him. What about You Tat? He loosened his reins slightly and smiled at the girl. She hadn't spoken in a while, and Nick began to wonder what she could be thinking about. Keeping the gelding in a controlled trot, Neo started to chew on his bit. The metal clanked against his teeth, and the gelding flung his head up and down in frustration. Loosening the reins a little more, Nick patted Neo on the neck soothingly. When the gelding became less agitated, he turned his attention back to Tatiana.

''Oh.. I'm keeping Archer at Foxton Equestrian Center'' she said, and smiled over at Nick.I wonder where Nick keeps his horse...? she wondered, the gelding beneath her snorted, and she realized she hadn’t been paying him much attention. She slowed down to a walk, hopefully to others would too. Tatiana patted the mustangs neck, he hung his head, relaxing his neck muscles.''I'm keeping my other horse, Harlee, there as well. But I cant ride her, she always throws me off'' she laughed, and then looked back ahead of her.

David pulled Allornothing back down to a walk. He stayed quiet though to not interupt anything. He paid alot of attention to his horse right then though. Allornothing snorted and hung his head a little. He knew how to stay behind the others because he could hear the hoof beats ahead of him. He knew to stay back a bit. David sat in the saddle and patted his stallion's neck gently.
