Lightning was getting restless, Ryan knew. And Kami would be after him if he didn't hurry. Lightning's skin twitched, Ryan ignored his horse for a few moments drinking in the warm day. He loved to go swimming all by himself-no perfect Jess or Kami around. He, Ryan, was the trouble-maker of the family. He loved it. Ryan floated on the creek, he'd make his family worry.

Kris sat on her stallion Skulblaka's back.The big powerful TB struck out easily in the water as he floated.Her sister and cousin followed on their horses.Turning around she placed her head on the stallions neck and laid back.The warm sun entered her body and she smiled.Dark hair floated on the water around her like a splash of paint.

Ryan glanced sideways and started. He fell over and went under. Gasping for breath Ryan treaded water and swam closer to the people. He was careful to not get too close to the horse but shouted, Give me a warning next time! I was nearly trampled by your horse! His family constantly told him he was a drama king, he didn't care.

Kris rolled over and managed to stay on the horse.Her dark jair lay against her back and she said,
Yeah sure buddy.Next time make sure that you don't get so close.
Skulblaka reared in the water and his heavy hooves gleamed in the light for emphasis.

Kris dove into the water after him.Swimming she stayed away from the horses and came up again.Catching her breath she dove down again.Her green eyes searched for Ryan.

Ryan floated to the top a few feet away, he didn't know what had happened. He saw the hott girl looking for him.

Kris came up again.Drenched she seethed with fury as she caught him looking at her.Swimming over she hauled him onto the grassy bank roughly and easily.

Kris sprang up onto the stalliosn back and yelled back,
And don't fake drowing next time!
A dog growled as it bounded out of the woods and up to Kris.Saying something to her friends they turned and nodded and went back to the house.Dismounting she stood and patted the dogs head as he glanced wariyl at the boy and strange horse.

I didn't fake it! Although if I had the option of having you give me mouth to mouth resuscitation that would be just fine! Ryan shouted. Then he mumbled something that the hottie couldn't hear.
