The pair shied away from the whip and galloped off into a corner to avoid Angel. Pirate nipped Hottie's rump as if to herd him, and the whole fight began again.

Cut it out! Angel bellowed, getting impatient with the pair. She walked closer, the end of the lead rope flying around Pirate's neck, Angel snatched it and secured it, tying a loop knot and sliding on his halter.See? I told you I could get ya. She said, tugging gently on the lead.

Lilly jumped the fence to get the piebald, Hot Stuff. She lead the stallion out, and began grooming him. She retrieved the tack and tacked him, and began to lead him out to the arena and swiftly mounted.
((Sorry, quick cause this is taking SO long! And cause im in an opposite timezone.))

((NP. And by the way, Cass? I believe you're Lilly, lol))
As the lead rope flew over his neck, the Pirate shied away from Hottie, but not in time for it to miss him. When the angry slid on his halter, he meekly looked towards the ground, only glancing up at her with shameful eyes occasionally.
Hottie snorted as the lead rope came over Pirate's neck and backed away as if the whole thing had never happened. He followed Lilly into the barn and stood quietly as he was tacked up and led into the arena. As he felt pressure on his back he began walking, paying close attention to her.

((Ooops, getting my name and RPGs confused. lol. I changed it.))
Lilly leant forard to pat the stallion, she hadn't ridden a stallion in a while, and the last one had left her avioding them, but so far Hot Stuff was calm. Once she was happyu that they had warmed up she asked him to trot.

((haha, it's okay))
With a snort the piebald trotted, ears alert for anything, eyes scanning the arena. His rider seemed good enough, but he would have to see if her attention wavered.

Ya know what Pirate? Let's skip that tack 'n junk, takes too much time and I can't tell if your anxious or not. She patted his neck, tied his lead rope like reins and vaulted onto his back, she patted his neck and sighed, walking him out the gate.

Lilly didn't know what the piebald was capable of, good or bad, so she turned him down the centre line at 'A' and asked him to leg yield to B, and round up onto the bit.

The chestnut snorted and pawed as she mounted, swinging his head around to look at her. He walked as she urged him too, but not at a steady pace.
Hot Stuff obeyed his rider's commands, one ear turning back to face her while the other faced straight ahead. Perhaps she would keep her attention on him after all.
((what does round upon the bit mean? I don't know a lot of dressage terms.))

((Where they bend the neck. You see it in any dressage high class horses. See the horse in this pic. www.tanyavik.com/images/dressage-photos/dressage-horse-bella-trot2-225.jpg - nice eh?)) Lilly smiled, he leg yeilded nicely. She kept her back straight, heels down and praised him."Good Boy, Hot Stuff." patting him. She knew he didn't round up, but he was quite young, and his topline wasn't perfect. She asked him to trot, then moved him into a three loop serpintine at 'H'.

((oh.....that makes sense.))
The stallion nickered and trotted nicely through the serpentine. As he finished, he snorted and sped up his pace a bit, seeing if she would keep up with him or fall back a bit and pull back on the reins.

Lilly remained central, and gave the stallion a little rein and allowed him to trot a little faster, but still a working, unrushed pace. She circled at A, and asked the piebald to canter after a round, then change direction at a trot and canter on the circle again.

Hottie worked well with the girl, who seemed to be a good enough rider. His head came up as he flowed into a smooth canter around the ring, slowing to a trot while changing directions but picking up a canter again as his rider asked.

Lilly smiled, happy with Hottie. She patted him. They continued their work at a canter until Lilly asked him to slow down to a trot then after some time a walk. After cooling off Lilly cheaked her watch. They had worked for an hour and a half, good. She slowed him to a halt and sprung off lightly, leading Hottie to the cross rails.

Angel clucked, trying to urge him into a soft trot.
