Lilly sat in the kitchen laughing at the new guy, Darren, rushing down. She had been in practically silence besides that, reading 'Hoof Beats' and had not been noticed. She had been the first up, however, as usual, and took up her faveorite place on a comfy seat in the kitchen, feet up on another chair, bowl of cereal in one hand. She was dressed in tracksuit pants, half chaps, and a top as usual for work. With the cold that had set in, se had added her fingerless gloves, a stone coloured hoodie jumper and a scarf. Her blonde hair was pulled into a ponytail, and her fringe clipped off her face.

He woke up from his drowsy state and got up again, and yawned.''Okay, I think I'll
get going down to the kitchen now. Otherwise I might just go back to sleep'' he joked
and walked back out onto the landing, walking slowly down the stairs and into the
kitchen. It was full of people, he stopped before looking round at them all, and then
walking in, taking up an empty chair at the table.''Hey, I'm Darren'' he said,
addressing the whole table, he didn’t know if the knew about him already, but he might
as well introduce himself. The young man stretched his arms above his head, and yawned
before slumping back in his chair and looking round at them all.

Darren meet Gerard, Frankie, and Matt. And of course Sasha, Jen and Lilly. Said Kirsten pointing to each in turn.

Gerard's emerald eyes stared up at Darren for a moment. He waved a greeting before turning back to his bowl of cereal. He didn't speak much these days, what with Angel gone. Just after they'd made up, she'd left again to do one thing or another.
Frankie, the shortest of the guys, followed Gerard in offering a wave. His eyes darted to Gerard, knowing what his best friend was thinking. He gave him a kiss on the cheek before finishing off his Toaster Strudel. Hopefully Angel would come back soon to cheer him up.
Matt took in the new guy with coffee brown eyes, studying him up and down without being too obvious. Jen was right about him being cute. But from what he could tell, Darren wasn't like him. With a small sigh, he turned back to his breakfast.
Sasha only spared him a moment of her time with a Good morning, before turning back to her work. There was a lot to think about-breeding, the yearlings, training, workers, orders, bills...The list was endless.
Jen smiled.Sasha's the other owner of Crystal. Frankie, Matt, Gerard, and Lilly help out with excercising and training while Sasha, you and I will be working with the problem and rescue horses. |

He nodded his greeting back to those people that he now knew the names of. And then
heard Sasha greet him ''same to you'' he said to her, not wanting to go into an
elaborate greeting since he could see she was busy. Then his head turned to Jen, and he
listened to what she said, he nodded to show he had taken in what she had said and then
spoke.''So what, horse should I start with first today?'' he asked, eyes still on Jen as he
waited for her to reply.
- ooc - just seen zee riding scedual for Darren... is there any particular order to the one he should work with .... or can he start with any?
UPDATE - ohh, sorry to be annoying. But what are the problens that the horses Darren are working with have?

Jen tapped a slim index finger against her lips.If Sasha is efficient as I know she is- she gave Sasha a smile,-then she will have the horses you'll be training up on the bulletin board down in main stables on the tack room wall. She tossed a glance over to Sasha's laptop for a moment, seeing what she was working on.You can start with whatever horse on your list that you want, just make sure that you get to know them before working with them. Pet them, groom them, talk to them, whatever you think will allow them to relax in your presence. But you probably already know that. Jen blushed a little, looking down for a moment.And there's always somebody around to help. |

He noticed her blush and spoke up quickly ''Thanks''. Darren said and he yawned
again, and finally stood up and grabbed a slice of toast that had been left in a toast rack.
''I'll get gong down there now if your okay with it'' he said and put the toast in his
mouth as he pulled on his riding footwear and his chaps. He muttered a goodbye
through his mouthful of toast and headed down to the stables.

Jen nodded and turned back to Sasha, now discussing with her the breeding plans. The others chatted for a few more minutes before heading down to the barn to begin their work as well. With a printed list in hand, Jen went down to the stables, taking Imohtep out of his stall and putting him in an empty pasture. She also took out Anck-su-namun and let her out with the stallion, latching the gate firmly before going to Grand Theft's stall. |

Lilly turned to Sasha, having finished her cereal.
Hey, Sash... I was wondering... being breeding season an' all...
She paused, waiting for Sasha, figuring she was busy.
Well, umm... I was wondering if I could use Love for breeding? I know her and Breeze allways got on...

Kirsten was silent, which was unusual. She nodded her head in approval of Lilly's idea. She had no breakfast and went down to the stables.

Sasha thought for a moment, going over the two horses' behavior. Lilly and Sasha had taken them out for rides and they did get on quite well.Well I suppose that's alright. I'm guessing you would wantt the foal? she asked, hardly looking up. |

Kirsten went to her list and went to get Roar, the first she was suppose to take out. She tacked him quickly, wanting to go riding.

She smiled, speaking softly.

More than happy to help, she said with a smile.Let's see... she stared into space for a moment, eyes moving left to right and down as though reading.I'm starting the breeding since most all of the mares are in heat. If you want to put them in oen of the breeding stalls. I have a few more on a list that I have on here. she tapped a finger against the laptop.Maybe you could help me with that today?

Lilly nodded enthusistically.Sure, I'd love to! Just tell me which horse and where! She saluted jokingly to the 'sergent' Sasha. She smiled, thinking of her mare, with a adorable foal.
