Name~~Armika (German) Gender~~Filly Breed~~Andalusian Age~~Four Weeks Pelt~~Bay Mane/Tail~~Black Armika (KiKi) is here because she was taken from a home that could no longer provide care for her and her mother, an Andalusian named Melinda. Soon after the pair was rescued, Melinda (MeMe) sadly died in her sleep. That was two weeks ago. The filly seems perfectly healthy, although her growth may be stunted for around a year due to the fact that not all adiquete nutrishion was given to her these last couple of weeks. KiKi's adoption fee is $500

Sasha Simbel walked around the center, pity in her for the poor horses. At Kingwood, it was their mission to take in horses like this. However, being so full at the moment, she only had room for one or two. Her eyes fell upon the filly and Sasha knew this was the one. The filly was very young and without a mother, perfect. Being so young, she would still be able to be trained and wouldn't have as much damage. She would take a little extra money, what with supplements and such, but she would be worth it. Sasha knocked on the door to the office and waited for a response.

The small flicka, Armika, or KiKi as she was called, slept peacefully in a dark corner of her stall. Her pelt was a dark bay color, and her tiny little mop of a tail swatted lightly at some flies. Jake came around the corner and watched the woman watching the filly.Taken a fancy to KiKi, eh? He asked, although he'd been in the USA for ten years, his English accent was still there, but faintly. Sasha nodded, keeping her eyes locked on Kiki for a moment before turning to Jake.Yeah. So what's her story? Her eyes moved between Jake and the filly, who had completely mesmerized her. Kiki could steal any heart, that was for sure. Reluctantly, she put her attention back on Jake.

Well, Armika was rescued from a home that couldn't pay to take care of her and her mother, Melinda. We rescued them two weeks ago when Armika was two weeks old. Melinda died two nights after we rescued them and Armika's been bottle fed since then. He held out a bottle filled with warm mare's milk from one of the nursery mares from Crickle Wood.Would you like to feed her? He offered.

Sasha's heart went out to the poor little . When he offered her the bottle, she nodded eagerly like a child.Does she have any special tricks? she asked as she put her hand on the bolt to the stall, looking back to Jake before entering.

Jake grinned slightly at Sasha's question. You'll find out. He said happily. The young filly rose and looked at the woman, walking around in circles. She snorted...and kicked up like she wanted to play...

Sasha shook her head and went into the stall, backing up a bit as the filly kicked up. It wouldn't hurt as much as a regular sized horse, but that didn't mean it wouldn't hurt.Easy there,, she said as she took a few steps forward.I bet you're hungry, aren't ya? she offered the bottle to her while moving forward about a foot or so, just out of hoof range.

At the sound of the word "hungry" the filly walked to the front of the woman and sat on her haunches. We don't know WHY she does that, but she just does. Jake said with a grin towards the bay filly. The filly nickered deep in her throat, waiting to be fed.

Sasha let out a small chuckle.Well, I think it's adorable. She now stepped closer to the filly and put the bottle right in front of Kiki. There you are, girl. Drink up. While the filly inspected the botltle, Sasha spoke to Jake. How are things going at Crickle Wood? she asked, keeping an eye on the filly whilst occasionally glancing over to Jake.

The filly suckled noisely. She stood up when she was about halfway through the bottle.I guess it's goin' fine. I've stayed at Green Creek for about a year. Supposedly Kevin and Chris have got a pretty nice setup now. She's bought a whole load of dogs and they had a few flickas and colts this fall. He said quietly, realizing how much he'd missed at Crickle Wood. How are things at Kingwood? He inquired [/blockquote]

Sasha watched the filly suckle for a moment before turning to Jake.Things are pretty good. A bunch of foals were just born, so this little girl'll fit right in. she smiled, glancing over at Kiki.We might even be able to find a mum who'll be willing to take her in.

The filly finished soundlessly, she walked to Sasha's side, and nudged her hand with a velvety bay muzzle. That's good. Jake said, slightly distracted. He grinned as he saw the flicka.Looks like she's attempting to befriend you. He said with a smile. [/blockquote]

Sasha looked down to Kiki as she nudged her hand.Well hey there, girlie. she cooed, rubbing the flicka between the eyes lightly. How'd you like to come live with me and have lots of friends to play with? She looked back up to Jake.Well, what do you say?
