Patrick rode his black thoroughbred Dame de Pique down the trail a few steps. Then stopped he checked the girth on his small saddle. Then checked on the way his feet were in the stirrups. Then he moved his hands up Danger's neck and got into the right postition. He tapped the horse into a trot. Dame de Pique quickly got into the trot easily.
