It was rather chilly, dark clouds masked the sky and there was an ominous feel to the air.
It was going to start raining soon, and people were rushing to find cover just as the first
drops began to fall, and a roll of thunder rumbled above their heads. Darren was wearing
a grey and black striped hoodie, with a black scarf rapper round his neck. His hands in
the pockets of his charcoal coloured denim jeans. He lowered his head as the rain began
to fall heavily and he cursed as he stepped in a puddle and the water soaked through his
converse. He hurried into the nearest building to escape the downpour. He found himself
in a warm diner and realizing he hadn’t had lunch he decided to seat himself at a table in
a far corner, he cast his eyes to the walls and saw the pictures, he gazed for a few minutes
longer then realized one of the staff at the diner was asking him for his order.''Oh ..
burger, large fries and diet Pepsi--'' he said, seeing the waitress writing down his
order, Darren gave her his thanks and leaned back in his chair, staring out of the window
at the pouring rain and feeling nicely cozy in this warm booth looking outside at the
miserable day.

Dark hair was hidden benieth a black and purple striped hooded tank top.
Black nailed fingers were hidden in black skinny jeans.
As Olivia pushed her hood back, she noticed a familiar face.
Darren!
She said softly, smiling.
Livie jogged over to the table.
Hi Darren,
She said shyily.

Darren looked back from the window now splashed with rain, and saw Olivia bounding
towards him through the diner. He smiled at her as he replied ''Hey, Livie'' he said
and indicated the seat on the other side of the table from him.''Wanna sit
down?''

Livie said, sliding into the seat.
I have to go visit my grandmother in Hawaii.
Livie made a comical face of disgust.
I don't wanna get a sunburn!
She said, poking out her lower lip, then smiling.

was brought to the table, he again gave his thanks and took a bight from the burger,
swallowing the mouthful he spoke again.''You want any of the fries? There’s to many
for me to eat'' he said with a smile, taking another bight from the burger.''How
long you staying in Hawaii for?'' Darren asked.

Four weeks.
Livie made another face.
It's going to be soooooooo boring.
Livie sighed.
Sure, If you don't mind.
She reached over, grabbing two fries, taking a bite out of one.

Pepsi and took a sip before replacing it on the table. He finished off the burger and then
started on the fries, taking two and eating them.''Are you taking Duane with you?''

''I find it a nice break to get away from Wolf'' he joked. True the stallion could be a
pain in the neck, but if it was a good day he was okay to ride. He wondered how Wolf
was settling in at his stable, hopefully alright considering he was the new horse there at
Crystal Stables.

Darren looked at her for a moment longer and then took some fries and started eating
them. Taking another drink from his Pepsi he leaned back in his chair, looking out of the
window.

Livie began giggling, then began turning red from holding back a laugh.
She covered her mouth, still laughing as tears fell from her eyes.
