One night and one more time Thanks for the memories Even though they weren't so great He tastes like you Only sweeter One night and yeah, one more time Thanks for the memories Thanks for the memories See, he tastes like you Only sweeter
Angel::I wish I was with you. She sat at the edge of the pond, her black hair tangly and dull. Her auburn eyes were lowly and sad, she had left Crystal Stables a month ago, no one ever coming to get her. Not even Gerard. She had stayed in the same town, hopeing and wishing that someone would care enough to come find her. But no such luck so far. She wore black Converse, which now lay on the bank beside her so she could dangle her feet in the water. See, she had told him, he didn't REALLY love her. He just was insecure.D.amn homos. she thought angrily. She shook her head agitatedly, her eyes mad.

.alone.in.this.world Matthew Lush made his way across the grassy expanse filled with children playing, s chatting, and others selling balloons and hot dogs. It was a nice day, about seventy-five degrees and not too humid. Nice and warm, but not so warm you wanted to be inside with the a/c up to escape the heat. As his eyes searched the area to see what else was there to do, they fell upon a familar figure. Black shaggy hair, Converse at her side, and what was most likely a band t-shirt. It had to be Angel. He hadn't seen her around Crystal for about a month, now. Gerard and her had gotten in a fight and she'd left. Despite their efforts, she remained lost. But not now. After a moment of decision, he strolled over to the pond, hesitating when he was about ten feet from her. He should keep going, for Gerard's sake. So he did. Once at the edge of the pond, he took off his shoes as well and sat beside Angel.Mind if I join you?

Angel::Dont tease me with these nightmares.
She pulled her hair behind her shoulders, scowling at the joyous rampaging calls of the kids playing. She hated the people at Crystal. They hadn't even come out to look for her. She heard footsteps at her side, and looked over, there was a farmiliar face...but who was it? Frankie? No....It couldn't be Gerard, it could only be one person....Matt!Nah...sure...I dont' care. Angel said in a rush...maybe they had been looking for her. She attepted a smiel at him.

.is.no.one.here.like.me. The attempted smile wasn't genuine, and Matt knew it. But the fact that she'd tried to force a smile for him said that she didn't h.ate him...or at least not completely. The pair sat in silence for a moment before he spoke. You must have been pretty well hidden, he began slowly, choosing his words. We looked all over town for you and couldn't find you anywhere. We thought you'd skipped town. Another pause before speech resumed.Where've you been? This question shouldn't bother her, it wasn't deep down and personal. Matt was handling this well so far, or so he thought. Probably better than any other 16-year-old. And so far everything he'd said was true. Sure, he didn't mention Gerard, but that would come later.

Angel::Do You Have To Bring THAT Up?
She looked down as they sat in silence. She hadn't talked to Matt since the day that he came basically, but they'd occassionally exchange hellos in passing as they were working with the horses. She hadn't seen him at all since her and Gerard's fight. But they were friends, was a guy friend, gay or not, supposed to come looking for an ex-girlfriend? She shrugged the thought off and looked over at him as he began to talk again.I wasn't even trying. Maybe I've run away too many times, that I just know how to hide. She said quietly, as he finished his first comment. She shrugged as she was asked a question. Here, there, I hid out at Crickle Wood for a little bit, I know the owner. She siad quietly, not exactly wanting to get into the fights she had been in, the late-night drinking at bars with the hundred dollars that Chris Kemp had given her, the sleeping on park benches. He might have only been 16, but Matt could talk to Angel better than probably anybody at Crystal, Angel decided. She really hoped that he wouldn't bring up Gerard, but she knew it would happen anyways. [/blockquote]

.or.will.someone.find.me. She didn't look as though she'd like to answer, but after a few moments of silence did so anyways. He listened to her response to the first question and thought for a moment. So Angel had run away before? That was something he didn't know. But then again, he hardly knew anything about Angel. The two had never really talked much at Crystal when they'd worked together, but she seemed like a nice person. His attention went back to Angel as she spoke again. Sounds like you've been doing quite a bit of moving. That's gotta suck as far as sleep goes. Okay, it wasn't that intersting, but it was the only thing that he thought of at that particular moment. With a sigh, he looked away. Perhaps he'd stop procrastinating on telling Angel about Gerard. But then again, she didn't really look like she wanted to talk about it. He really didn't know...

Angel :: Sigh-eh She nodded slightly as he spoke. She listed to his sleep comment.Yeah, it kinda sucked. She replied mildly irritated. She looked into the water, watching the different shapes cast by the sun reflecting off the smooth surface of the water. She looked at his face breifly, knowing at somepoint Gerard would come up.Okay, I know you're gunna bring it up, what's up with Gerard? She asked, looking away from his fac.e[/siz]

.i.hope.so. The answer came in an irritated tone, and he said no more. Matt watched the sun dancing on the calm waters, enjoying the reflections that bounced onto his clothing. When the question came up, he hesitated. How should he say it? Could he even bear to tell her? He looked away, not wanting to see her face. He should tell her. Not much, came the reply. Okay, that wasn't what he'd been planning on saying. But he couldn't take being the bearer of bad news. Sure, he was being weak, but so far, at this moment, it saved him from causing another human pain.

Angel :: W-what do you mean?
She watched his face as he thought, then as he spoke, his eyes began to get that hazy, lying look. She was an expert at telling when people were lying or not telling everything they could. She stood up and looked down at him, her brown eyes intense and intemidating. What is the matter with Gerard? She asked, her eyes baring down on him. You're not telling everything that you can. WHAT IS THE MATTER? She asked, in a loud, irritated tone.

.lifes.no.fun.when.youre.alone. Matt looked up, still unsure of what to say. This was the who said she didn't love Gerard and then walked out on him?Temper, temper, he said, his voice sounding cheery. But why would you care? he paused for a few seconds, thinking of how miserable Gerard had been. It had killed Matt to see him like that, even if they were only friends. Time to pour on the guilt trip. You don't love him.

Angel :x: Wah chu talkin''bout? She glared at him, her brown eyes boring down at him. She'd NEVER said that. Why would I care? Lemme tell ya something Matt. I never, ever stopped loving Gerard. I'm a girl, I have emotions, is that ileagal now? She spat at him.I dont' care if he's straight, bi, or flat out GAY, I love him for whatever it's worth! She yelled, her eyes aflame with fury.I'm going to Crystal, and I'm going to find him. She said, stamping a now-Converse covered foot with emphasis. She turned on her toe and ran. She remembered the way, why wouldn't she? She ran for what seemed like an enternity, crossing creeks, busy highways, bustling town streets, finally coming across the road that she and Gerard had walked down so long ago when he was drunk. She walked up the gravel driveway, her head hanging low. [/blockquote]
