Craig came through the park gates and walked along the path, it was a sunny day and fairly warm and the park had quite a few people lying in the sun or sitting on the benches. He walked along,Hades his Doberman trotted beside him, occasionally stopping o sniff something. He drew neared the pond in the park, a few people sat at different places around it on the grass, but Craig decided he would let the dog of his leash anyway. So he unclipped the Doberman who bounded away, exploring the ponds edges. Craig stood where he was, keeping an eye on Hades, he spotted a tree and then walked over, and sat at its base, still watching Hades. It was getting warmer now, and he was glad that he was wearing the white t-shirt, it was keeping him cool. He also wore jeans and some scuffed black vans, you might say you would expect to see him at a skate park. But instead Craig was walking his dog. He suddenly found himself thinking that he didn’t know anyone in this area, maybe he would hit the clubs tonight and meet up with some new people. He shrugged inwardly, and then began looking for where Hades was again.

Stephanie was walking around all in black. She had her dog, Amigo beside her. The dog was black. She was walking alone because she had no friends to hang out with. She was hoping to find someone to hang out with. She loved both her dogs. Bingo her black and white dog walked behind her. Her dogs loved to be around her. She loved being around them. Hopefully she would be able to find someone who liked or had a dog to hang out with. She owned a horse as well but knew the horse didn't have anywhere to stay. She would find a place soon though. Amigo and Bingo smelled another human and a dog around. Amigo barked loudly. Bingo stay quiet. Stephanie looked at her black dog and petted his head gently.

[ooc - You don't mind if I reply do you? lol]
Looking around herself Zoey checked her stride. There were a few people dotted around the park. Most of the visitors were with their dogs. She had had one once. But it had been hit by a car. But all that was when she was alot younger. She had left all her childhood mem- ories behind when she moved. Everything was in the past. He cousin had moved here so she could hear more from a family ember. She hadn't seen him recently though, the only conversation that had taken place between them in the past few days was over the phone. He had told her that he was too busy at the stables to see her every day. She hadn't taken it offensively and had understood what he had meant. She sighed and pulled her t-shirt down to cover the waist of her jeans. She glanced dwn at her red converse. Sghe would need to be getting a new pair soon. The scuffed and battered edges were loose and the shoes themslef were nearly falling apart. She glanced around one more time and saw a dog sniffing hi s way around the pond that was not too far away. As far as she could see, there was one person leaning against a tree trunk. This was what appeared to be the dog owner. As he was watching the dog carefully. She moved over to him, her friendly instinct kicking in. She knelt down beside him, taking care not to sit too near so she didn't appear overly confident. She sat down properly and hugged her knees.Hi, i'm Zoey She smiled and looked at the boy next to her. She waited to see if he was conversational enough to reply with his name.

Craig first noticed someone wearing all black, walking along with her two dogs, Hades saw them as well and bounded over to investigate, but didn’t go to close, he barked at the dog near the girl, then stood poised and quiet, then at a whistle from his owner, the Doberman bounded away to the boy. Craig stroked the dogs shoulder A few times, again seemingly impressed with how big Hades had grown already.''You'll be surpassing an Irish Wolf Hound soon if you don’t stop growing'' he said to the dog, Hades tilted his head in a 'who, me?' way and then padded off again. This time Craig saw another girl, she headed over towards him directly. He didn’t flinch at her approach, he was the sort of guy who wanted people around him all the time. His blank expression turned into one of a friendly grin.''Hey, I'm Craig. Craig Sullivan. Nice to meet you'' he said, unsurprisingly his voice still held a bit of an London accent, but had become fainter on his stay in California. Hades came back again, his eyes resting on the girl, he walked over on his long legs and sat down, placing a paw on her knee. A soft whine coming from his throat as he did so, the usual plea for attention he always seemed to want.

She smiled as the dog, who she had come to realise was called Hades came and placed a paw on her knee. She grinned and stroked his ears. She had always loved dogs and was happy to be around them. Somehow they always seemed to put her in a good mood. She scratched behind the Doberman's ears and realized he was one of thos dogs who adores attention. She smiled and looked back to Craig. She seemed to pause and think for a moment, then her expression changed to one of uncertainty as she considered something."Aren't you the owner of Number one, down on that street of town houses?" A curious frown crossed her face as she remembered hearing a dog with the same bark as Hades nearby when she was at home."It's only because I live on that street. She turned back to the dog and smiled as he blinked at her then at his owner. She also looked back at Craig at the same time. As she turned her head, she noticed a girl dressed entirely in black.Bit warm for those colours in this weather She shrugged inwardly and carried on with her conversation.

''Yeah I do, the one with the black Dodge outside'' He nodded, Craig must have missed Zoey coming past, probably had already started walking to the park by then. He looked across at Hades and shook his head, such a little suck up. For an un-spayed male dog, Craig had to be thankful that Hades wasn’t aggressive or overly dominant, he was like a little pup still. In fact, he was a little puppy.''You got any pets? You seem to have a way with dogs at least'' he said, nodding towards Hades who was now rolled over and pawing at the girls shoes like a cat.

She smiled and her expression became distant. Recalling memories of her puppy, before it had been hit by a car. She remembered evesdropping on a conversation between her parents and the vet. She couldn't think of the exact words, something about having the dog put down. That it was too excitable. He parents hadn't told her about it. They had simply led her to believe that her dog had been killed that day. She sighed and came back to the present. She sighed and smiled at Craig "Thanks, I used to."Her continued silence gave the impression that she did not wish to talk about it any more. She put her memories at rest and carried on as normal."So do you have any toher pets apart from Hades here?" As she spoke of him, she scratched his head and he crushed her hand as he rolled over onto the grass near her feet. She laughed slightly and pulled he hand from beneath the dog.

He noticed her discomfort at discussing her own pets, or past ones, and dropped it. ''Nah, I don’t really have enough room judging by how big Hades has gotten'' Craig said. Briefly he had considered getting a cat or small dog, but he didn’t think Hades would appreciate another animal in the house. A hamster maybe, or a rabbit. But they might end up like Hades last chew toy, luckily not a live one at the time. But the dead pigeon had really taken a toll from the young dogs teeth. Shaking his head at the memories of the dog bounding into his old house, blood smearing his jaws, he looked up from the ground where his eyes had drifted too. Hades got up and then wanderer back over to Craig and laid himself over the boys outstretched legs, and yawned. Thinking of what way the conversation could swing, Craig decided to ask about horses. He was interested in buying one, but hadn’t really gone round to any of the stables to have a look for even a job yet. So Craig spoke,''So, do you ride?''

She smiled, heartily this time. Riding. This was a subject she was comfortable in discussing. She nodded I do but, I haven't been able to in a while. My cousin used to give me some lessons on his horse. Until he got a job at one of the stables and moved there. She smiled again, she missed Joe's lessons sometimes, and the way he shouted at her if she didn't listen. She laughed inwardly at his exhasperated expression he wore when she wouldn't listen to a word he said. She looked back at Craig and decided to ask whether he did."Do you?" She wondered if he did ride after all. He seemed like the sort of person you would see riding a horse, or constantly with an animal such as a dog. She tilted her head to one side and flicked her fringe from her eyes. Hugging her knees to her chest, she began to pull grass up from the ground unconsiously.

''Well, I used to'' he said, watching Zoey absentmindedly shredding the stalks of green around her. Craig moved is green eyes to the sky for a moment, gazing up into the cloudless blue expanse before returning to Zoey’s direction.''I haven’t really gotten round to starting again'' he said, Hades gave a soft whine and rolled over onto his back, and Craig scratched his stomach for a few moments, until Hades was satisfied.''I plan to go round one of the stables some time to have a look for a job''.

She smiled as she compared. She was going to get a job at the stables where Joe worked. She was lloking rforward to being around horses again. She grinned, then it faded slightly. That would only happen if she got the job. Her smile returned within a moments hesitation. She brought a thick strip of grass up to her mouth and blew through it. It gave off a high pitched whistling sound. Only slightly bearable. She stopped and smiled apologetically to both Hades and Craig. Then dropping the grass at her feet gazed out across the park again. She nodded as he spoke and felt herself agreeing with him. She hadn't ridden in a fair while, and she was in need of a job.

Craig sat in the short silence for a moment and then he spoke.''So, are you planning on working at a stable?'' he asked curiously, although he tried to avert his gaze as though he wasn’t interested, but it would be nice to know where most people were getting jobs. Craig didn’t really fancy turning up at a stable and not knowing anyone, but still, he was the sort of person who made friends in a snap.

''I might end up working there as well'' he said, and looked up at the sky for a moment.''I might head over to that new stable that’s just opened up.. Foxton I think it was'' he said and looked back over at Zoey. He had seen a notice for that stable, it said it allowed dogs, that was a good thing for Hades. Better than being crammed up in the house all day.

[ooc - ooooh! yeassshh, come to Tom's stable! We need people! it's dead there at the moment ^-^]
She nodded.Yeah, my friend said something about that. There was a notice put up a couple of days ago right? She flicked her hair out of her eyes and glanced at Hades. Smiling, she looked back up at Craig.I reckon it'd be good to gop and work somewhere with horses. I'll bet my cousin will be utterly dissapointed though! She grinned as she thought of Jowell working at Pine Brook. In time, I'll probably get a horse of my own. How about you?
