Sam drove her truck to the shed where the cattle were to be held. In the trailer behind her, were about 9 cattle, each unhappy and bellowing. The noise made her ears hurt and she winced, backing the trailer up to the gate. Lady and Duke ran around the truck and trailer, their eyes mishcevous. Sam hopped out of her green and gold truck wtih the words, Green Creek, writen on the side, and quickly opened the cates and then the trailer door. In a mad rush, the cattle stramed out, most rushing to the long grain feeder and began to eat. Sam smiled adn threw a bale of grass hay into the hay feeder, the rest of the cattle rushing to that to eat.

Sam observed her cattle a few days later. In her small herd she had about 5 heifers, 2 steers, and 2 cows. Pretty soon her bull would be coming in. Sam smiled, remembering the call from her dad to stop down and pick the bull up. His name was Samson because of his long, hairy tail that everyone claimed held his super strength. It wasn't true of course but it was fun to tease the little kids about him. He was a Brahma, the most georgus creautre in the world. With the plus side of being in great helth, he also sired some very good calfs at his time down in her familys' ranch. While she watched her cattle, a large, desil truck rumbled down her driveway with a good sized trailer on the back. Sam's ears picked up the sound of a bellowing bull and she lept off the fence, walking over to where the truck park. Out hpped her dad's bud, Tony, his graying brown hair matted with sweat. As usual, he drove the truck all the way here without fixing his air condition."Hey Tony!" He waved over to her and went around to the trailer, opening the door carefully. Sam peered inside, having fololowed him. In there was Samson, his eyes so wide the whites were showing Tony chuckled and slapped Sam on the back."Ya goin' to be able to keep 'im in check, honey?" Like msot of her family and friends, his grammer was terrible."Yes Josh, now let me get him out!" With a few tugs on the lead rope and a coaxing with a heifer in heat, Samson left the traielr and went into the pen. Tony waved and left, his truck rumbling away. Sam got back on the top of the fence and watched Samson strut around the heifers and cows, the steers sitting in the corner gloomily.
