Harriet mounted, and rode the stallion in a circle, walking briskly for ten minutes, half on each leg, then repeated with trot, and canter. The gelding was forward and difficult to steady, and wouldn't keep his head down, though wasn't too naughty. when he didn't respond to an aid to canter, Harriet slapped him with the whip, he pigrooted in response, but the travelled nicly.

oops!!! Gelding, thouggh recent and thus stallion attributes. Libs only once been backed, so you couldn' really be 'just watching' on her.
Harret slowed to a walk, afer not doing much. Ok, so shall I ride Liberty then?

Jess looked up, startled by the sudden voice. Yes, yes of course. He said after processing the voice's question.

Harriet dismounted, holding the reins to Jess to hold. She then mounted the mare slowly, using the fence so as to land lightly. She rode around the whole of the arena, and then circled as she had with Marrechi. Libberty was obviously backed before Harriet had got her, though they couldn't be sure. The only hint was that she wasn't completely stressed or freaking out.

She trotted over, having not cantered. She's accepting the weight well. You gonna ride?

Jess smiled at Harriet and took Liberty. He mounted her and started off at a walk around in a circle. After a few rounds he picked up the pace to a trot. He posted on her, trying to keep the weight off of the mare.

Harriet smiled and watched the beat. They mare was tossing her head and bchewing on the bit, but that was understandable.

Jess hardly noticed when he put his whole weight on the mare and pushed her into a canter.

Harriet watched the smooth gait of the galloway. He was worked well with her, sitting deep in the saddle and tall. SDhe smiled Watching the mare snorted and push of into a canter at first rushed and awkwad somewhat, then after just a few strides settling into a smoother, steadier rocking motion.

Jess was one with the horse and after a few laps of cantering he slowed her down and cooled her off. He walked her over to Harriet. She took my full weight! He said excitedly.

Harriet smiled, excited at the ponies acceptance. Your doing really well with her. I haven't seen her move that omfortably under weight. She clapped.
