Melanie heard the price and looked up for a moment, thinking. She had just enough for the place, and for that she was greatful. And she would money left over to start up the business. She breathed a sigh of relief and looked over at Jane and nodded.Alright..I can afford it. |

Jane smiled softly and nodded, pulling out papers that need to be signed. Since it was a racing stable, the stated wanted to getevery little thing signed.

Melanie happily signed everywhere that Jane told her to. She just wanted to get this place started, and get boarders in and everything else. She smiled up at Jane as she signed the last paper, and then handed the pen over. She looked around excitedly, and then she saw her golden retriever bounding over to them, his tail wagging furiously. He barked happily and then sat beside her, beside himself with happiness for being able to explore this new place. She patted his head and then waited for Jane's next words. |

Jane smiled as she pulled out a large stamp and stamped a paper, it making a loud bang on teh car which it sat on. Still smiling, Jane handed to to her."You are teh proud owner of Grand Stable Racing Stable," she declared.

She watched what Jane was doing, and her eyes lit up when the paper was handed over to her. She smiled brightly over to Jane, her eyes sparkling.Thank you so much..for everything. She said and offered her hand so they could shake. SHe liked Jane, and maybe she might be able to have a friend in this new place. She could use a friend, being the new person here. |

Jane smiled and shook her hand, slipping a card in her hand."Here is the number for the vetinary office. She is pretty good," Jane said. She was raised in this town but she had moved to a nearby city for her work. Jane smiled again."I better be going. I hope you enjoy living here and if you need any information on the stable, here's my card," she handed her a card that had her name and numbers on it."Bye!" she said, gettinginto ehr car.

She took the cards greatfully. She would stop by the veterinary clinic to day and see if the vet would take on another stable. She smiled as Jane spoke and then waved goodbye as she drove off.Thank you! She looked down at Charley and took his head in her hands.Charley we have a home! She said happily and shook him softly. He woofed in excitement and jumped away, growing playful. He was only two after all. He stuck his butt up into the air and she found a stick, throwing it for him happily. Now she just needed to set down the basics of the stable. |
