Golden Fox, as she was called, walked gently down to the creek and took a drink, she played for a bit then shook, trotting to a big weeping willow, she slept, remembering her New Forest family in the woods.

ANdrea walked her golden retriever along the stream, him needing no leash. She stopped, to take a break, and sat down. She looked over to her right, and there, over like fifty yards away was a beautiful foal. She immidiatly thought of Dream, the premature foal that had adopted her, and Andrea had adopted Dream. She smiled, wondering if maybe this foal would trust her like Dream, and form a bond like that. She just started at it, wondering if it'd come any closer or just run away.

The filly smelled Andrea, but she was so tired and hungry that she couldn't stand, just smell, and wonder if this two-legger would be kind. She gave a nicker to tell Andrea to come closer, the filly's orbs wanted, no, needed love, after her mother and sister were killed, she had no conpainion. She gave up and laied down, she smelled canine, canine ment harm, harm meant death...at least for her, she gave a fearful whinny to Andrea, trying to tell her to run and leave her. She whinnied again, she tried to hide her fear and scare the canine. She snorted and her head fell, her strength was fading, she was dehydrated, she was starving, the weeping willow bloomes smelled good, she wanted to eat one...or some grain maybe, like she knew what it was, not! Her brother did though, he was captured for a couple days, they fed him grain and had a halter on him before he came back...

Andrea could hear the filly's different nickers, her needing one, her fearful one. After she heard that one, she looked over to Snowy,"Aw, Snowy, I'm sorry, stay here." She said, he tilting his head to the side, and obeying. ANdrea had help Dream before, had won her trust when she was afraid of everything, so she hoped to help this little one. As she neared, she held out her hand, white peppermint laid in her palm. She offered it to the filly, seeing if she'd take that.

Golden Fox sniffed the girls hand then licked the peppermint greedily. Her stomach rumbled, she tried a nibble of grass but spit it out, she was used to milk and leaves that she could reach, there wasn't much grass were they used to live. She nuzzled the hand, wondering if there was more food, she wondered if this two-legger would put a halter on her, she needn't, Fox would follow if there was more food, a good home or not. She felt safe with the two-legger, she thought that the canine would be safe too. She gave another nicker, a feeling safe one. She nuzzled the hand again...

Andrea smiled. She whistled for Snowy to come over, for he was helping her by carrying a small bag, one of his favorite things to do. She smiled as he bonded over, him still being a puppy, he looked so cute. When he finally got there and sat down, Andrea got the bag out of his mouth. She pulled out a small container, one with sweet feed, one with alfalfa pellets. Then she pulled out a small bucket, and put a mixture of feed in there. She held it out to the foal, seeing if she'd take that.

The filly licked up some, she liked the sweet part, she ate that, whatever the other stuff was, she didn't like. She looked at the canine when she had finished eating the sweet part. She thought she had something on her nose, she tried to lick it off, but she couldn't, some sweet feed was stuck there. She nickered to the two-legger, tring to get her to get it off. She gazed at the canine, wondering what breed it was, was it native like her, or a drifter like her father was. Something wanted her to snap at him, but she couldn't especially if the person was it's owner.

Andrea smiled, getting the piece off her face."I'm sorry, I had to give you that yucky stuff." She said looking at the foal. She got more sweet feed, put it in the bucket, none of the alfalfa pellets the foal didn't like. Andrea also unwrapped two more peppermints, and placed them in the bucket along with the sweet feed, and pushed it back to the foal, wanting to know if she was still hungry.

The filly ate the peppermints but didn't want anymore grain yet, she only took a couple of bites. She looked at Andrea, she wondered if she had a home now.

((okay, I will be here.))
Andrea smiled at the filly."I wonder if you have a home.' She said as she scooped the feed back into the container and put it in the bag, along with the rest of the things.

She nickered a sound that sounded like a "no" and shook her head from side-to-side, she could understand people, but she didn't know if they understood her. A bush rustled, Fox knew it was just Eagle, watching over her.

Andrea laughed, and patted her head."Well, then, you can come home with me, if you want. I have another little foal. I'm sure you two will become fast friends." She smiled to the foal, and got up, seeing if she'd follow.

Fox trotted to Andrea, she sniffed her. She could trust her, she followed about a yard behind Andrea.

Andrea started towards Chestnut Hill,"Okay, so we have to go to another stable, but I'm sure you'll fit in my truck." She said, acutally not to sure.

Fox gave a playful whinny, wondering if the person would name her Golden Fox, or if she'd have to change her name. When they got to the truck, Fox stopped, looking at it, she nickered, and snorted, wondering if it'd come to life...
