Melanie had run into the house because the phone had been ringing, and she now steped out, closing the door behind her. She looked up as she heard the sound of tires on gravel and wondered who it could be. Seeing the truck and trailer, excitement pulsed through her. Her first boarder maybe? She waited on the porch, not wanting to seem too eager. |

Ky le shut off the truck adn walkde up to her and smiled and siad"may i board here?"

She stepped forward as he walked up, walking so that she was down the proch steps. SHe heard his question and saw his smile. She nodded.Of course..do you want me to show you around? I'm Melanie... |

She nodded and then walked around him.Just follow me..I'll show you the barn where you can keep your horses. She told him gently. She wasn't the kind of girl that just wanted a boyfriend. She was busy with the stable and everything else, and needed to get settled first. So being single was fine with her. She took him into the first stable, which only had a few occupants in the fifty stalls.This is the main barn. It's a bit nicer then the other, and you can choose whichever stall you want. It's a bit empty...but I'm just starting out... SHe explained to him, looking back at him in question. |

She smiled over at him upon hearing his words. She shook her head gently and replied happily.There isn't much for you to be in the way of. Really..you can pick whatever you want. There's end stalls available with two windows..ot anything you want really. Like I said..sorry it isn't busier. She told him softly. He was a nice guy, and she would like having him for a boarder. |

"Well I love the qutie it does not scare my horses,well it does not matter".He smiled and though she shoudl have a boyfriend around here she was pretty and would like to get to know her he want to setle down and have a family but that will never happion.

She smiled once more, a bit relieved. She had thought he would be turned away because the barn and business was so new, but it was the opposite. She looked over at him.Well..since you're the first boarder and everything...the board is lower. I'll charge you $300...if that's alright? She didn't have aboyfriend..she hadn't been out in two yet. She was too busy here, and basically Kyle was the first person she had met. She looked over and waited for his reply. |

"Oh no i could not i will pay the boarding cost,I am selling my arabian i trained so go check them out if you want."He smiled this girl was nice,but he was the onest man and will pay the price if soemthing happion to his horses or to another human.

She looked at him in surprise. He was really nice, and he seemed like he was a fun guy. No doubt already had a girlfriend. But what was she thinking? She focused back on what he was saying.But you'd be paying $500 for basically nothing... She told him gently. She would be interested in looking at his arabian, but she needed to get settled here first. |

She hesitated, but he obviously wasn't going to bend. She sighed and smiled at him, holding up her hands.Alright..you win. I'll bed down the stalls for you, while you go get your horse(s)? But she had already turned away. She picked out one of the best stalls in the barn and grabbed two bags of shavings. She ripped them open and poured one after the other in, then grabbed a pitchfork and spread an even layer out. She did the same thing to as many stalls as he needed. She filled the two water buckets with fresh cool water and then threw a flake of hay in the hay rack. She turned and walked out of the barn in case he needed help. |

Kyle brong out a saddlebred mare and 2 quarter horse stallion and smiled and said"can you take the mare pleaze?"He looked at the quarter horses adn lead them in to the stalls and unhooked the stud halters and blackets and legings.
