A black truck and trailer pulled into the driveway and parked, the engine cutting a minute or so after. A delicate blonde stepped out of the truck, hair pulled away from her face in a ponytail. Standing on tiptoe, she peered into the trailer, checking on the horses inside. The sounds of stomping hooves, swishing tails, munching and the occasional whinny escaped from the open windows. Sasha Simbel strode into the barn, eyes drinking in the sights of the stalls and the horses who resided within. In their travel, her eyes stumbled upon a flight of stairs, which she assumed led to the office. Going on this guess, she climbed the stairs and knocked on the door, hoping this was Kai's office.
Somehow our previous post got deleted. Oh well, this one's better ^^

Kai heard a vehicle pull up in the yarn outside the stable, and turned from his laptop and looked over and out of the window.Oh, they're here already, he sorted through his desk for a sheet of paper with the horses he had put together, but couldn’t find it at present. He stood as he heard a knock at his office door, and walked over and opened it. ''Ah, Miss Simbel I presume?'' Kai said and gave a friendly smile, stepping back and inviting Sasha into his office.
[ ooc - it did? strange, oh well.. Oh and do you happen to know who I paired Just My Style (Jenna) with? I think it was one of the arabians ]

Sasha smiled warmly. And you must me Kai. Nice to finally meet you. she offered him a hand to shake after she'd stepped inside. Eyes ran up and down his figure quickly, estimating that he wasn't much older than she. After she'd studied him for a moment, her eyes scanned the office. It was nice, classic, organized, but not too organized. In one word, it was perfect. So, shall we make sure we understand of the terms of the agreement before we let out the stallions? she said, taking a seat in the chair across from his desk.
Yes, Riddle

Kai took her hand and shook it, more gentle than he would have to another guys. Kai noticed her gaze traveling around his slightly unkempt office, true he had spent the last half hour trying to get all the papers and files in the right place, but a few documents were strewn across his desk. The young man seated himself in his chair, and spun it round towards Sasha.''Sounds like a good idea'' he said, and offered her the next chance to speak.

Sasha took the seat across from Kai's desk and rested her hands in her lap. Ice blue eyes met his and held them for a silent moment before she began.Alright, first let's talk price. Sinbad and Imohtep will cost the most, because of their bloodlines. The only one who isn't a purebred is B|oody Brew. In what price range were you thinking for each? She maintained eye contact while she spoke, Her body language portraying that she would be willing to bargain but wouldn't be cheated out of money.

He considered for a moment, he had recently bought a few more horses, for a total sum of $150,000. It had been quite a loss, but he was also getting quite a tidy income from training requests. He ran his hand through his brown hair, thinking. He would be willing to pay quite generously for certain horses if needed, but would have to be careful with what he spent.''Well, I'm willing to pay the full price for what there stud fee is. But in general I would be aiming for anything around $1000,$4000 for those that don’t have too much of a pricey fee-'' He paused momentarily, surveying her. Kai noticed her stance was assertive, ready to listen to what he said.''-But I'm willing to pay higher if needed'' he concluded, and straightened his back and leaned back in the chair, interested to here what Sasha thought. He hadn’t really discussed what the studs were used for in general. But he decided that if she thought is offer was to low, he was willing to barter.

A smile passed her lips, glad that he wasn't trying to trick her.Right then. Sinbad and Imohtep are each $6,000, the rest are $4,000. Bright eyes surveyed him, checking his body language for any major changes.Sound fair enough? she asked, now fully leaning back in her chair. Sasha's tight baby blue t-shirt hugged her chest as muscular, but delicate tan arms settled on the arm rests of the chair. Jean-clad legs crossed, her foot bouncing a bit as she waited for his response.

Kai smiled, so he hadnt under stated his prices.''Right then, that should cost about-'' he paused and thought, calculating the figures in his head.''about $28,000 in all'' he finished, hoping he had got the total correct. Rotating his left shoulder slightly, he smiled and clapped his hands together lightly.''Right then, shall we get the boys out?'' he suggested, casting his deep azure blue eyes in Sasha’s direction.

Okay, so she had cut down the prices a smidge because he was good looking. It's not like she was poor. Sasha mentally checked his calculations and nodded. That sounds about right. Her own baby blues met his gaze full on.Yeah, they're not gonna be happy in there for too much longer. She lifted herself from the chair.I'll let you take some of the milder ones and I'll get the toughies. Sasha retraced her steps downstairs and back out to the trailer. After unlocking the doors, she let down the ramp.Where are you going to want them?

Kai listened, pleased that she had agreed with him on the final sum. Now he stood from his revolving chair and followed her down the flight of stairs towards the trailer she had pulled up in a bit earlier. Now he watched as Sasha took the trailer door down, and then thought of a suitable answer before he replied.''Well, all of the stalls have the name of the mares they contain, as well as the studs name, so it should be pretty easy to put them all in the right places''. Kai considered telling her about some of the arrangements of stables, and then spoke up once more ''The not so friendly mares are in the stables with pens attached, so the boys can go somewhere if the mares don’t take to them to quickly'' he said with a slight grin, maybe putting Deva in one of those had been a good idea, she had tried to bit Kais fingers off as he was closing the box door!

Sasha clipped a lead on the first horse, B|oody Brew. The stallion stamped his hoof impatiently, eyeing Kai warily. You may want to watch out with this guy. He's still a bit rowdy. Brew backed out of the trailer quickly, wheeling about to face Kai. The stud tossed his head, then looked about eagerly. Sasha patted the stallion's neck before walking him to the stable door. You can get Rocky, the bay on the right side. She told him as she entered the stable.Belle of the Ball, Belle of the Ball... she thought to herself as she walked down the aisle. Here we are, she told the stallion, opening the door. Seeing the mare, Brew eagerly trotted inside once she'd clipped off the lead.On to the next one, Sasha walked back to the trailer, ready to help Kai or get the next horse.

Kai nodded and made sure that Sasha got to the barn okay before he went and took the rocky mountain stud by his lead rein and led him out of the trailer. The young man then walked into the barn, retracing his steps from earlier to where he had put Deva. Then he spotted the mare looking at him over the stable door, for one her ears forward with interest. He opened the door and let Rocky inside, and Deva put her ears back when the stallion approached her but the stallion obviously had some wit, for he retreated to the other side of the stall. Kai shook his head and laughed lightly before closing the door and walking back to the trailer for further instruction.

When Kai came back, she was bringing another horse out of the trailer. Once Sasha had gotten him down the ramp, the gigantic Percheron looked around imperially, fully aware that he was taller than any human or horse. This is Sinbad, Billie's horse. She rubbed the black horse between the eyes.Thankfully, he's pretty easy going. Sasha paused for a moment, gazing into the trailer. You can get Deal Me In, the chestunut on the left side. Sinbad tugged at the end of his lead rope and Sasha brought him inside. After finding A Songbird's Sorrow's tag, she let Sinbad in, who gave the mare a playful nip. Sasha gave the stallion a last pat before heading back out to the trailer.

Kai nodded and watched as Sasha lead the proud stud away and disappeared into the barn with him. When he thought about it, Sasha was quite pretty. He smiled to himself and then turned on his heel and walked into the trailer. He unclipped Deal Me In and then backed him out down the ramp and into the yard. Then he led him away to find the appointed mare. He soon came to Izzi's stable and opened the door, the bay mare nickered as she spotted the stallion and walked over and greeted him. He let Deal loose, closed the door and then went back to the trailer.

Sasha looked around for Kai before she went into the trailer, then shook her head. She clipped a lead on the buckskin Egyptian Arabian, Imohtep, and brought him out, waiting for Kai. Upon his appearance, she let a small grin escape, but quickly concealed it.Ummm, you can get Riddle, on the right. Imohtep nudged her with his muzzle in the direction of the barn and she chuckled before leading the way. Once she'd let him in with One White Lie, she sighed. She had to be more professional, she decided. After all, this was strictly business. Right?
