Abby lead in the brown pony, Queen of the Sahara, into the breeding stall. Sahara was due this week. Setting up the feed and water, Abbby left the mare in peace. Three days later, Sahara gave birth to a gorgeous colt. Abby named him Jaffa, short for Jaffarri Rashad, which is arabic, because of his dam's name. He was a paint, as most chincoteague ponies are, and his sire must have been palimino, on cremello, for Jaffa was indeed a palamino. Abby left thm in the stall to bond. Jaffa started to suckle.
