Billie Joe knocked on the office door after seeing Buz.Mark? You there? He questioned, listening through the door for any sign of life.

Mark was outside grooming a cute donkey. The donkey gave a bellowing hee-haw, making Mark wince. Buz snorted and galloped about the pen, his all dirt from his constant running.

Hearing a donkey's bellow, Billie Joe looked around outside for the donkey and found Mark.Hey Mark, I'm curious about Buz.

Mark looked up and smiled slightly.Buz the bug huh? Need to know anything about him? he asked, putting a hand on Romeo's, the donkey, shoulder.

Mark looked at Buz, thinking.He is a good boy, just over egar. He is 250, he said and heard a truck pull in. Frowning, he excused himself for a second and walked around back, raising an eyebrow when he saw the animal control officer truck or, April's truck.Hey 'Ril. Got anybody new? he asked and April shook her head.Nope, just thought I would visit, she said, taking off her sunglasses and looking around. Mark shook his head slightly.Well, a guy I know is looking at Buz. You cna come met him, he said and walked back.Billie, meet April. SHe is the town's officer and animal control officer. April amiled slightly and nodded, her hand resting habitly on her pistol.

Nice to meet you April. He replied politely. While Mark was talking to April, he'd gotten out $250, and handed it to him now.I'm gonna take Buz. He said with a grin.

Mark took the money and went to get a lead rope. Aprilwatched him go and went up to Buz's pen. The appy saw her and galloped over, nickering happily. With a small grin, she scratched his forehead, calling to Mark,He has the green lead in the back of the truck hon, while he was digging around in the shed.

April nodded.This boy came from a over stocked ranch. He was just a tiny babe then so we had to foster him. But now he is all grown up, she said kissing the Appy on the forehead. Buz whickered softly and looked at Billie as if to say,Oh. Hi.[/b]

Poor boy. He said, shaking his head. His eyes wandered over to Mark, wondering what he was doing. It took that long to find a lead rope?

Mark came back, some grease on his face. He scowl slightly at April.Why doyou always hide these things in the back of that thing you call a truck? he asked, agasperated. April grinned at him and winked.Just to bug you, my adorbale little brother, she teased, even though they were in no way related. Taking the dark green lead from Mark, she clipped it on Buz's halter and led him out, handing him over to Billie.

Billie's grin widened at the sign of Mark's grease-stained, exasperated face. He took the lead for Buz from April with a Thanks, and led him into the trailer and locked it. With a wave of goodbye, he got int the truck and drove off.

Mark glared at April andshe smacked him in the head, telling him they had a meeting with the town council and he needed to get cleaned up. With another grumble, Mark went in to wash up and change, April going to get the truck.
