Colton opened the door to his pigeon loft, laughing as he was greeted with coos and hoots. Walking in, he looked in teh nests, laughing at soem of the3 babies in them. In one nest was a tiny one, just a touch of fuzz and a shiny pink. Layla stood outside, holding a bucket in her moouth. Setting it down, she growled softly, several pigeons flying to her and pecking at the seeds in it.

Ashley walked into the loft behind him she picked up angel who was at her leg. She rolled her eyes and said "Bird man" She said laughing she coudn't belive how much colton liked birds she just thought they where a waist of time and they where not needed. She looked around and sighed leaning on a wall.

Colton looked at Ashley then looked away, shaking his head. Layla eyed teh girl, her hackles rising slightly. They were her master's birds and no one was to be mean to them. The black one and the red and white pigeon flew around Ashley, cooing to each oother, the blakc one seeming to chase the other. A tiny baby was in his hands and he smiled at it, rubbing it head. THe baby's eyes were hardly opened and it peeped, wanting to have its mother to feed it. The mother was a blue bar homer, pacing nervously and eyeing Colton.

Ashley raised an eyebrow and said "some one is cranky" She smirked then let Angel down she walked back down the stairs and into the apartment. She sat on the couch and stared at the tv. Watching it bored to death.

Colton stayed up in his loft, stroking the birds. He put the baby back in the nest and went out by teh edge of the roof, looking down at the street below.

Ashley went into his hide out and sat in a chair her legs on it also. She sighed and grabed the remote and turned the tv on. She layed back in the chair and watched the show.

Layla snorted adn nudged a few birds out of her way, walking over by COlton and putting her fore paws on teh roof rail. Setting her chin on her paws, she looked around, her eyes wandering. Angel, getting crabby, went back downstairs adn pawwed at the door, barking.

Ashley herd her barking and laughed she got up and walked to the front door she let her in and smiled she shut the door and sighed. She pulled a book out of a bookcase and sat on the couch she layed down and started to read.

Colton pushed himself away from the ledge and walked downstairs, his hands in his pockets. Layla nudged the bucket over, the seeds spilling out, and then picked it up, following COlton downstairs.

Ashley sighed and rolled onto her stomach she buried her face into a pillow and gently placed the book on the table. She closed her eyes and sighed.

Colton walked down the stairs and stood infront of his door, staring at it. Layla walked beside him and sat down when he stopped, watching him. The bucket in her jaws swung softly, making her grip it tightly.
