Jeremy walked slowly along the street, there were a few people walking along the same way as him, probably headed for the same place too. He had heard it was a great place to meet new people, and considering he didn’t know anyone in this town yet, it would be a good start. Jeremy was wearing a charcoal grey t-shirt that read 'MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE' in black lettering, and some tight black skinny jeans with a studded belt. On his feet where black converse. Around his neck was a black and white checked scarf. His eyes were rimmed with eyeliner, and his side fringe that was streaked with red fell over his odd brown eye, leaving the silvery blue one for show. he entered the club and moved through the crowd of dancing people to the bar and seated himself on a stool, a waiter came over and asked for his order, Jeremy ordered some orange and melon J2O, and sat quietly, watching the group of dancing people whilst he waited for his drink. He shook his head to clear his mind and sunk into thought about where his parents must be now, probably back in Scotland still. As he thought, Jeremy began absent mindedly toying with the piercing on his lip, a habit he was accustomed to now.
[ ooc - when I say 'scarf' I mean one of those big bandana thingies =P but their are called scarfs ]

Kayleigh had arrived at the club early, there was already a mob of people dancing and laughing. She sighed and made her way across the room to the bar. The only reason she had come here was to get away from the place she called 'home'. It was driving her mad. There was nobody to talk to. Anybody would have done, even if he or she were the most unbearable person the country! As she neared the bar, the mass of people thinned out a little. There was a young man at the counter. He seemed to be alone. She ordered a diet lemonade. The stranger didn't look as though he was the type of person she would usually talk to. But, as a young child she had been told not to judge people by their appearances.He wore a bandanna, and she found herself squirming as she looked at the piercing on his lip. His tight skinny jeans, and his M.S.I shirt were a giveaway to his style, and his accesories were also a big clue to his intrests. Yet he seemed quiet and unaffected by the crowd of dancers. Due to the amount of people in the room, he was unusually distant and seemed to be in a world of his own. She asked,
Is this seat taken?
As she awaited a reply, she watched him absentmindedly playing with his lip piercing. She found it fascinating. She took a sip of her drink to fill the silence between them, she became more aware of the barman and the dancers all around her.

[ ooc - haha, that must have scared you =P. Jeremy is Bi... not like joe sulli "supposedly" is ¬_¬]
Jeremy's head turned and he spotted where the voice had come from. He lifted both brows for a second before replying ''Nope --'' he said in his usual Scottish accent, and then noticed that the barman had come back with he drink. He nodded his thanks and took the bottle, taking a sip from it. He used a fee hand to push his fringe from his hazel eye, only for the dark black hair to fall back into place again. He replaced the drink on the counter and gave a sigh. He wondered if what his cousin's, Darren's, reaction would be when he found out he'd come over to the same town as him. Jeremy only knew because his aunt and uncle had told Jeremy this was where their son would be.

Kayleigh sat down beside him. As he moved his fringe from his eyes, she saw that his eye was infact a shade of brown, hazel. And that his other was pale, almost silver blue as he looked at her. His accent was heavily laden with a Scottish air. She found herself unconsiously staring at him, She didn't know what it was, but he was fascinating. She sat down on the stool and watched him take a sip from the bottle. She decided that maybe if the air were broken with conversation, them maybe she wouldn't feel so akward. She asked,
So, do you come from around here?
She twirled the straw from her drink inbetween her fingers as she waited for an answer yet again. She began to wonder what he was thinking about. He was still gazing into the distance when she asked the question.

''Hmm? Oh yeah, i’m living in a hotel room at the moment in this town'' he said, slightly perplexed by her question. Shrugging to himself, Jeremy took another sip from the bottle, this girl was staring at him as though he was some endangered species in a zoo. The young man rotated his shoulder awkwardly before he began to speak himself ''You?''

{ooc - a zoo?! lmao}
She was startled by his sudden intrest in the coversation. If you could call it that. She came to herself, and stopped staring at him, she could tell that it made him uncomfortable. She replied,
Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same situation. I've just moved here.
She drank from the glass in which she was holding, to keep the conversation goin, she added;
So, you must come from Scotland then?
She had made this assumption mereley due to his strong accent. She did not know much about the place, but did not mind hearing about it, if he was willing to converse.

''Yeah I do, oh and I'm Jeremy by the way'' he said, glad that she was no longer intent on staring at him. He replaced his bottle of J2O on the counter and yawned for a second, before casting his gaze back to the blonde girl.''What’s your name?'' he continued, making note that they were engaging in a conversation and yet still didn’t know each others names.

She noticed that he seemed to have relaxed slightly. She found it odd that she had not introduced herself, she would normally have told him her name by now.
I'm Kayleigh, nice to meet you
She replied, smiling at him.Now they knew eachothers names, maybe conversation will be easier she wondered.
Do you want to dance? I mean you don't have to if you don't want to, it's just...
She was surprised at all her babbling, she must sound like a complete fool! She moved her hair from her eyes, they shone slightly in the dim lighting. She tucked a stray lock behined her ear, and looked at the floor embarassed. She chanced a glance at him and wondered what he would say.

He shifted uncomfortably and then spoke up quietly,''I cant really... y'know, dance'' he said with a roll of his eyes and a half grin. Jeremy wasn’t exactly the dancing sort. When he was completely wasted, maybe, but not whilst he was sober. Taking another sip of his drink he, looked back at her, silver eye rested on face.

She smiled softy at him,I wonder what it would take to make him dance... She decided to put her thoughts into words;
You don't really have to know how to dance, you just sort of...do it. You know what I mean?
She looked questioningly at him. Was he laughing at himself? She didn't know.
Look, there we're some of the last people here. Why don't you try?
She played with her hair, and tilted her head at him.

Jeremy sighed and stood with a pained expression on his face.''Okay, okay... I'll try then'' he smiled weakly and again he gave his fringe a flick to try and clear his gaze, but with the same result as last time. He walked out onto the dance floor.'What does she mean 'the last people?!' he thought inwardly, the place was still thronged with people, oh well, they would be to busy dancing to notice Jeremy making a fool of himself. He pushed his way carefully through the people, he wasn’t the tallest or strongest of guys and so it was a bit more tasking than it looked. He stopped soon enough, and waited for Kayleigh.

She look at him as he smiled and flicked his hair from his eyes, only to watch it fall back almost immediatley. She placed her glass on the bar counter. Following him into the center of the room. She had pointed out that they were the last people here,[even though they weren't ], in hope that he might try and dance and not feel embarassed at the same time, even though she sensed he was nervous about it, and also very reluctant. The song that played was fast, and as she moved forward, people all around her making jerking movements that they called "dancing". She had lied. The floor was packed with people. Nobody seemed to pay much attention to the her as she made her way through the mob. She saw that Jeremy had stopped to wait for her, so she waited for him to stop and decide where to dance. When she realized that he did not really want to be there, she felt a pang of guilt. He was obviously only doing it because she had asked. She thought to herself,Why did I ask, I should have known that he didn't want to? She started to dance. She wasn't fantastic, but she felt that she blended in with the crowd enough for it to be considered as dancing.
