Aidan listened carefully to his words and was able to ask one question before the teacher yelled at them.Well..hopefully they'll drop me soon enough...what's your name? He figured the guy probably already knew his name since he had been asked to keep an eye on him. Sighing softly, he looked a tthe book. He guessed he would start reading from chapter one and hopefully catch up sooner or later. |

The guy smiled and ducked when the teacher screamed at them.I am called Skater, he said quietly.Just call em that. And he began to read lightly having already read all this book.Your Aidan.. am I correct? he asked quietly.

He didn't like that she was yelling at him...it made him slightly uneasy. He looked over at the kid named Skater...which he had just found out. He nodded at his question.Yeah.. He felt eyes upon him and looked forward to see the teacher watching them. He quickly looked back down at the book, bracing himself for more yelling. |

The teacher glared softly but went back to ehr work. SKater looked over at Aidan and winked.She's not that bad. SHe is just lonely and sad, he said quietly. He could see past all teh people's bad sides and see their true selves. Liek teh cheerleaders. THey acted nasty and rude but they were actually self conious and scared of the real world.

He looked over at Skater with one raised eyebrow.RIght...I'll remember that. He wondered when he would see Jay. The little guy just came to his mind just now...even after all of this. He had been too preoccupied before. Sighing softly, he looked back down at the book, hoping the bell would ring sooner then it had to. |

The class went by quickly once the students begna to read nad the teacher didn't yell and the bell soon rang. Skater was gone in a flash, he had to get to the gym and change before the teacher got there, leaving Aidan alone. Jay ran past the door of English 202, some kids following him. He was laughing, a freshman now, and couldn't wait to get to Science. Nicki waled over and stood by teh door, Ton and Amy behind her. She waited for Aidan and they were waiting for her.

Aidan sighed softly as the bell finally rang. He looked up and watched as Skater ran off...leaving him alone with the cheerleaders. He shoved his stuff into the bag and hurried out of the classroom, not even seeing Nicki in his haste. He just didn't want to be left alone with those girls. Looking at his schedule, he groaned to himself as it said chemistry. |

Nicki looked at her friends and they shrugged. Ton left for health and Amy and Nicki went off to chemestiry. Stopping at Amy's locker, they got there just before the final bell rang. After this, LUCNH!

He sighed and went into the classroom, not seeing Nicki or anyone he knew yet. He sat down and looked up as more entered. FInally seeing her, relief and another feeling swept through him...something he couldn't explain. Ignoring it, he stood and went back to them, sitting in an empty desk. |

Nicki looked at Aidan and nodded, smiling slightly. Amy leaned back in her chair and began to draw on herself with black marker, drawing swirls and other designgs.

He smiled back t her and then looked up as the teacher entered. What would this class be like? He was extremely relieved that he didn't have to introduce himself in any of the classes, and he hoped he wouldn't have to. He looked to his right and to the front, seeing two more cheerleaders. |

The cheerleaders were working on their nails adn the teacher began class, not caring if they were listening or not. Nicki leaned back in her chair and took out a Japanese wirrten book, reading the strange symbols. Amy looked at him and nodded, her eyes thick with eyeliner and light with eyeshadow, both black. She had a skull drawn on her arm.Hey, she said quietly and twitched her eyebrow, her eyebrow ring moving. This time, it was a spider.

Seeing that the teacher didn't care about them at all, halfway through, he gave up on taking notes. He spoke too fat anyway. Looking over, he saw Amy look over to him and nod in his direction, speaking to him. He nodded back at her as well, thinking maybe taht was how she greeted people.Hey... |

Amy looked up at teh front, the geeks were taking in all this like water after being in a desert. Amy remembered things from elelmetary school that most didn't.Don't take notes. I can tell ya what you need to know, she said, tapping the side of her head.This is a computer. Ton adn Nicki get notes from me at lunch, want to join us? she asked.

Aidan looked over at her once more as she spke, and then smiled. He shrugged at her first words...he would feel guilty using her for notes or something like that. But he looked up hopefully at her words of offering.You mean it? |
