Pulling up in her Mini Cooper Zoey parked outside the house. The street was fairly new, and there obviously wasn't a lot of life there at the moment. She sighed, she was happy and excited. Her old apar-ment had been shared with about three other girls. Now she had all the space to herself. when she had shared a house, she had owned bas- icallyeverything. The T.V, radio, sofa's etc. So all the furniture had been moved before-hand. She smiled as she moved back to the car to fetch a box that carried other things, such as clothes and other nece- sities. She placed the box down in front of the door. As she fumbled for her key, she loked around and thought that ther for sale sign would have to be taken down. At a closer look, a SOLD had been nailed over the origonal. There was one other car in the street. I was about two or three houses down from hers.
Pushing the door open, she was greeted with the smell of recently dried paint. She breathed deeply and went to explore the other rooms. As her stuff had arrived a few days before, she had expected it to be put in the right rooms. She would redecorate asnd move furn- iature around to her liking another time. She disapeared upstairs for a moment came back down with her hands empty. After dumping all her belon gings in te master bedroom, she decided to explore outside. There were some french doors leading out onto a small patio, which then led onto a reasonably sized back garden. Tall trees and a high wooden fence surrounded the stretch of grass in front of her. A gate was positioned at the side of the house. Zoey guessed that that it led to the front of the house. She moved back indoors and closed the entrance to the garden behind her. She found a small hook and hung her keys from it. Satisfied she moved into the living room and found it was larger than she reme mbered. She spraweled out onto the sofa and switched the T.V on. She was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon. Maybe later on she could go and meet her one and only neighbour.
