Jessi quickly scribbled a note for Jenny."Now,or in the morning?"She asked cuteily.She quickly scooped up the dishes and put them in the sink.

Jay thought for abit.How about now? We can go to the big hill and watch the sunset, he said with a slighlt smile.

"OH SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Jessi said,running outside.SOmehow,Aurora and Letta,Jenny's dogs,had gotton into Brew's pen,and he was chasing them around the pen,ears flat to his skull,nose flaring."Brew,NO!!!!!!!!!!!"She cried,jumping into the pen.

Jay ran out after her and stood at the fence, putting two fingers to his lips. He gave a very sharp whsitle, one that even Whiskey listened to and he only listened to Sam.

Brew stopped only long enough for Jessi to get the dogs out.As she began climbing the fence,he ran into her head on,making her fall to the ground.He reared and his legs began to come down.

Jay ran over, hand raised. When he reached Jessi and the horse, he bellowed something in Gealic, slashing his arm before him like he was holding a whip. His other hand was moving waving in Brew's face, trying to make him drop back and run off. Jay's eyes were set and defient, not willing to back down.

Jessi cried out in pain as his hooves hit her chest.Once Brew saw Jay,he took a step back,giving him a quizzicle look.One of the cats,Salem,hissed at Brew.He had developed a close bond with Jessi.Missy and Sasha followed suit.

Jay grabbed Jessi by the arms and pulled her back, glaring at the horse. Once far enough away, Jay kneeled next to Jessi, eyes worried.Jessi! You ok? he asked urgently.

Jay held her hand and squeezed it softly.Let's get you back to the ranch. Sam knows a few things about getting hurt by horses and how to tell if they are serious or not, he said qietly, smiling in a reasurring way.

Jessi nodded and tried tosit up,her shirt covered in blood.She gasped in pain,and leaned back again.

Jay picked her up, bride style, and carried her to hsi truck, setting her down lightly. Firstaid always said to never move a wounded person unless the scene was unsafe. Well, Jay tought to himself, this scene is unsafe and she needs help. Once she was settled, he hopped in on his side and started the rumbling truck up and took off down the road.
