She walked down the gravel driveway, soon hitting the road. She walked along, heading wherever life took her. Hopefully Gerard wouldn't come after her again.

Gerard couldn't stand to so much as look after her. She's said she loved him...he'd thought she was serious. He lay on his side, tears still rolling down his cheeks. Never before in his life had he felt more stupid than now. Sure, he may be laying out in the cold early in the morning crying, but that didn't matter. He'd just lost one of the only things he'd ever cared about. Was all of their time together a lie? She'd said he loved him...apparently not.
