Oh cheer up Josh! She said, shoving his shoulder lightly with her foot. Rocket squealed, bucking and running in the water, splashing water everywhere.

Josh closed his eyes and hummed softly, something that sounded Celtic. Monk lifted his head and watched Josh, his ears perked. With a snort, he got out of the water, shaking off, and went to graze, lipping at the grass.

Chris shook her head, Rocket was still playing in the water.Why are you so grumpy? She asked.What'd Sam have reason to, but ticked you off anyways, do now?

Josh sighed and put his forearm over his eyes.I messed up big time.. I was supposed to be working in the office earlier waiting for a call from a sponsor, our first big sponsorship, and I belew it off to take Monk, Sweetie, and Bell outside and groom them. Sam has a right to be pissed at me after what I did. The guy called five times and I didn't even notice. Now we aren't getting the sponsor for a competition coming up, he said, taking his arm off his eyes and rubbing his face.God I am stupid..

Chris eyed him, looking for some clue in his deep eyes.Nothin' really. She said, her long brown hair falling into her blue eyes. She heard Rocket whinny and canter out of the water, shaking she began to graze. Chris ran a hand through her hair to get it back, and she pulled it into a low, but tight ponytail.

Wanna go to the diner and grab a bite to eat? Its supposed to be clear out tonight, anyways, and I want to show you something, Josh said, sitting up. His eyes watched her slightly, just resting on her for a second before fllicking to Monk, who was grazing calmly by the shore.

Josh smiled slightly.You bet. Meet me at the diner about 8, he said, hoping up on Monk, who yawned. Turning his soft head, he nickered a bye to Rocket before standing taller and preparing to go.

Chris nodded and slightly bit her lip as Rocket whinnied a goodbye to Monk. Rocket crow hopped and took of at a light canter, going back to Green Creek to put her away with her true owner, Jake. She sighed as she cleaned off the mare, she led her into the paddock and the horse reared and ran to her friends nearby.
