Jay glowered at Jake. He was 16, why do that to him. But he helped Jessi to his truck instead of growling. Sam chuckled softly and went outside, sitting on the back porch. Lady saw Sam and got up with a grunt, walking slowly over. She was getting old but acted like a young pup, keeping Alex safe and out of harm's way.

Jake knew that Jay hated it when he treated him like a little kid, but Jake loved to tease him. He finished putting on his boots and grabbed two Pepsi's, taking one out to Sam, he kissed her cheek lightly, he looked at Lady, and then the Shar-Pei pup trotted to them.He doesn't have a name ya know. Jake said.

Sam smiled at Jake when he sat down next to her. In the yard, Alex was chasing Josh around while waving a stick.Hmmmm that could be a problem, Sam said, rubbing her chin. Lady's replacement, Whiskey, trotted over and laid down next to his mom. THe Wolfhound pups all stayed at the ranch instead of leaving.

"I can't go out there.I can't see brew.I won't."Jessi said softly.Her eyes,once so bright,were dark with pain.She was shaking,like being outside in the middle of winter wearing your underware.Salem jumped on to her lap,and began sniffing her all over making sure she was ok.Then he looked at Jay and mewed.

Jake looked down at the Shar-Pei.Ace? Milo? Camo? Jake suggested. He looked at the pup and scratched his nose lightly.Hey Whiskey. Jake said as the Wolfhound pup ran up, he smiled. He was happy that the pups had stayed, escpesally Ebony and Whiskey.

Sam thought for abit, her eyebrows scruntched together. As she thought, Whiskey sprawled out next to Lady. He was very big, bigger than Lady even. But he acted like a pup and loved to follow people around.How about.. Damon? she asked, looking at the Shar-Pei pup.

Sounds like Da-Man ta me. Jake said softly, stroking Sam's hair, Chris had gone to the bathroom and now stood, leaning against a tree watching Josh and Alex run. She had liked Josh since she met him when she brought some dogs to Sam's vet office. Everytime she thought of him she thought of a poem that her grandmother wrote just before she died.
(this is the poem that my grandmother wrote just before she died so please don't use it Sammy Wammy.)
As life goes on from day to day,

Sam smiled softly, watching their little girl begin to climb a tree. She made it about halfway up before Josh realized what she was doing and panicked. After running around the tree a few times, he began to climb up after her. Alex was a speedy climber and got to the topish area quickly.I am the ruler of the world! she cried, clapping her hands. Josh has his arms wrapped around the tree trunk, stuck in the middle of the tree.Chris!!!! Save me!!! Josh begged, eyes wide.
Jay drove down the road.You have to see him. Its like falling off a horse, only more painful, he said, turning carefully.
