Jessi gasped as the truck came to a stop outside of the Green Creek Household.Her shirt was getting bloodier by the second.

Jay pulled up to the house, ignoring the dogs that barked and bellowed. Hewentaroundto Jessi's side of the truck and picked her up, gently, carrying her into the house.Sam! Oh God.. SAM! he bellowed, setting Jessi on a chair in the kitchen. Sma walked in, Josh and Alex at her heels, andturned around.Josh. Take Alex outside or in her room to play. Do not come in until I come out, she said, turning Alex around quickly. Josh nodded, looking back at Jessi with pained eyes, and took Alex into the living room. She came back right away, pulling her sleeves back.What the hell happened? she demanded, grabbing some bandages, towels, and a fillinga bowl with water.

"Horse....stallion.........two.....small......dogs.....in......pen.......I had to.................get them......out,"Jessi wheezed out each word.Suddenly,there was a mewing sound from Jay's truck.Salem had come along,but had scented the dogs,and decided to stay in the truck.He wanted Jessi out of the dangerous dog-smelling place.

Sam ignored the mewing, giving Jay a look that said, Scram. Jay did so in a hurry and Sam turned back to Jessi.Shhh shhh. I know what to do hon, Sam said, carefully feeling Jessi's side for any brokenribs.

Jessi yipped in pain when Sam touched her side.Her eyes had lost most of there shine,and they were a dull moss green.Her white tank top was now 90% red,from blood.

Sam took a scalpl and cut her shirt open, wincing at whatshe saw. Grabbing a towel, she shoved in the water, got it wet, and wiped away the blood to see what she dreaded.

When Sam was cutting her shirt,Jessi felt the scaple hit one of the bones sticking out.More tears fell as Sam put the towel on her side.

Sam winced at teh sight of the wounds and dug through her medical kit. There! A knock out med. Carefully, she drew some up with a needle and syringe and looked overat Jessi.Don't worry hon, I know what I am doing, she said before giving her the ansestectic.

Sam waited until she was out before moving the bones back into place. It took awhile and was hard but she finally got them fixed before cleaning the area with rubbing alchol. Once cleaned, she pulled out some needle and thread, sewing the skin back together. She was soon done, just wrapping the bandage around Jessi's belly, to her back, to her belly again.
