Josh grinned and picked Aidan up, slinging him over hsi back and carrying him like a sack of feed.Bud, you need to gain some more weight or you wil never be able to join the football team, he said in a father like tone.What will you do when you can't get a scholarship for collage? Then you will be wishing you listened to me. At the end of that, he began to laugh. He wanted Aidan to feel better, not like he was dragging them donw or making them unhappy.

His eyes widened as Josh picked him up, and sling him over his back. He had thought he was skinny, but not that much. As Josh spoke, hiseyes were only able to see the ground. His hands were braced on Josh's back, and he couldn't believe he was getitng lifted up like this. But he listened to Josh's words first, and then replied with his own words.I would gain more weight..but I don't want to eat you out of house and home...plus..if you're cooking..then I'm not so sure... He joked slightly. But really, he loved Josh's cooking and ate it faster then anybody else in the house. Hearing the words about college, he furrowed his brow.I've never thought about goign to college before..but if you don't put me down..I'll never go anywhere... He said, trying to squirm out of his grasp. |

Josh tickled hsi sides slightly and set him bakc on his feet, grinning.I am not THAT bad of a cook, he argued.I learned how to cook in cooking class at school and from my uncle. But you should gpo to collage. I went for a year or two. If you get a degree, you will be able to find a better job. He nodded hsi head, crossing his arms. Collage was good but he felt to dumb to finish so he quit early.

He tried not to laugh as Josh tickled him, but the sound came out anyway, and then he was on his feet again. He pretended to scowl at Josh, and then brushed himself off. Listening to Josh, he grinned. The man was making him feel better. But as he listened he shrugged.I never really thought I was going to go anywhere... He explained, meaning his past life. It really hadn't opened any opportuinites for him. But he looked up at Josh and wiated for his reply. |

Josh grinned at him.Its your choice midget. I dropped out cause I were a 'tupid red neck hill billy, he said, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and one eye looking the other way. That took his years to perfect and it made kids laugh at Halloween.

He grinned back at him and then laughed at Josh's face. Very jokingly, he retorted easily to the midget comment.You're ugly enough Josh. He played, and then got ready to run. He was pretty fast for his age, and he thought he might have a slight chance of outrunning him. He waited for his reaction. |

Josh grinned, back to his normal expression.Thats what the Grim Reaper said when I fell of my horse. He said I should wear a bag before he'd take me to heaven, he said, putting his hand to his chest.I personally think women LOVE me for my looks that everyone say is scary.

He laughed gently at Josh's story, shaking his head in disbelief. But at the words about the woman, he looked up, his eyes brightening softly.Well...maybe they saw you with the bag over your head. He joked. He was finally opening up to everyone, and even though it had taken a long time, he finally had. |

Josh grinned but put hsi hand to his heart agian.Thou is so cruel, he scoffed adn dropped teh dramatic act.Thats what you get for being in drama class. His shoulders shrugged.The drama teacher at teh high school is pretty different, he grinned.Comes from Ireland, isn't that neat?!

Aidan just grinned and shook his head at Josh's words. He listened quietly and then thought a moment. He wondered if maybe Josh was still interested in teaching him trick riding. But he knew he would have to go to school. He looked up at him grudgingly.So when do I have to sign up? |

Aidan sighed softly at the first set of words, and then looked up hopefully at Josh's offer. He smiled slightly.Really? You mean it? He asked, his voice filled with excitement. No one had ever really made deals with him before, and he liked this idea. |

Josh raised an eyebrow.But only if you go to school and get good grades. When you are old enough, maybe we wil ship you off to some collage that has to do with horses, he said with a grin. His parents wanted him to be a farriar and tried to ship him off to some snob school but he balked.

At the mention of school, he hesitated, not wanting to really go. But he knew he needed an education, and then Josh could teach him after school and everything like that. He nodded softly.Alright..but I don't know about college. He said with a small smile. |

Josh grinned and slung his arm over Aidan's shoulders, patting his other shoulder.Ok, before we o trick riding, we are gonna have to do some moves on teh ground. Ever thought about joining gymnastics? he asked, serious. The moves he learned in gymnastics he put in his trick riding and he had different moved from other people.
