Dewy snorted adn turned sharply away from Charlie, puffing. Jay hollared excitedly and urged Dewy on. Dewy snorted again and Jay slowed him into a easy cnater, letting him catch his breath.

Charlie lunged forward and Aidan soon drew her up, feeling her sides heaving slightly. Pulling her in, he let her canter to gain some of her stamina back. She relaxed, liking the easy going pace that Aidan had set. He looked back at Jay.Is that all you got? |

Jay stuck his tongue out at Aidan.Watch this! he said adn stood up on Dewy, not even needing to use a saddle strap anymore to tuck his feet into. Dewy snorted adn sidestepped, spooking at something. Jay yelped and grabbed the saddle horn and sitting down before he fell off. Dewy snorted agian and stopped cantering, tossing his head and backing away. One of Lady's pups was wandering around in the tall grass on the other side of teh field, making Dewy nervous.

He nodded, his eyes on Jay and Dewy. As they did their small trick, he clapped his hand easily, and then burst out laughing as Jay almost fell off. He calmed himself and then looked over to what he had spooked at. It was just one of the pups.Look Dewy..it's a puppy..you big brave stallion. He joked easily and then let Charlie slow to a walk. He let her cool herself off, his eyes searching the field for a fallen log or anything. |

Dewy snorted, backing up still. He was only a young buck, two or three years old. Jay begna to talk to him, stroking hsi neck. Dewy calmed down adn Jay yelled at teh pup to go home. As the pup ran back to the ranch, Jay looked at Aidan.What are you lookin' for? he asked curiously, walking Dewy over.

Aidan looked over as Jay spoke, but then looked back at that field.Anything jumpable... He said and kept looking. His eyes finally found it. It was quite big, but it would do. He smiled over at Jay.Found it... He urged Charlie into a canter and let her look at the log. She perked her ears and snorted, but grew excited. Holding her in, he got the strides right and then released her, letting her jump. She jumped it way too big, but he didn't care. As they landed, they cantered away and he smiled back at Jay, halting her eventually.Your turn... |

Jay shook hsi head.Sorry. Dewy and I don't jump. Most of the horses dont' except yours and I think two others, he said with a slightly smile.It doesn't fit well when you are trying to teach Western horse to go around things instead of jumping them.

((Shhh..it's on the edge..a tree fell down...lol)) Aidan laughed gently and nodded, understanding what he meant. He sighed softly and then turned her a bit, cantering her once more. They approached and jumped it once more, and then landed on the other side. He walked her over to Jay and smiled.Do you know of any trails? Or do you have homework? |

Jay made a face.Homework, bah. I do that in the morning, he siad and looked around.If we go through the hayfield, we should be able to reach the trails on the toher end, he said, nodding to the treeline at th eopposite side of the hay field.

Aidan laughed and shook his head, then listened to Jay. Nodding, her turned Charlie in the way he had indicated and waited for him to lead the way. He didn't exactly want to get lost. |

Jay nudged Dewy into a trot and headed to the tree line, behind those trees more trees. Dewy snorted eagerly and tossed his head. He loved going on trail rides.

AIdan had never been a trail ride, so he was excited. Charlie snorted, remembering going on some. She pranced eagerly, her neck arched and her chin practically agaisnt her chest without any aid from Aidan. He patted her neck to relax her, but she kept going, doing her own form of dancing.Easy Char...you're alright. |

Dewy snorted adn went into a trot, his tail arched slightly. THere maybe some Arab deep in his blood. Hmm. But Jay ignored his showing off and pulled him to a walk, wentering the dark hole where the trees were removed. Before him was a long trail that danced its way through the woods.
