Facts: Jadyn had a pretty alright life..until she turned ten. Her grandmother passed away, and then her grandfather commited suicide because he was so depressed. Her other grandparents had died in a house fire, and things weren't going well. She didn't have any other family, because her parents were both only children. So she was as well. One night, when they were driving home from one of the wakes in a rain storm, the car slid off the road and flipped into a ditch. Her parents were killed instantly and Jadyn was in a coma for a year. She finally came to and everything was mostly healed, but her ankle gives her reoccuring problems. It was badly broken in the crash. And now she still has a brace on it, and it's getting her really down...and her life is as well...

The tiny girl was sitting on her assigned bed, trying to figure out why her life was like this. SHe didn't want to be here. She wanted her mom and dad, but that would never happen again. SHe brought up her good leg and rested it agaisnt her chest, letting the still healing one rest as it was. Laying her head upon her knee, she sighed softly, wondering if she would ever have a life again.

Sister Kara escorted Willie into the room."Hello,"He said,in his raspy deep voice,sitting down next to Jadyn.

Jadyn looked over as the strange man walked in, and then sat next to her. She looked up from where she was sitting and moved over quietly. She was just basically scared. She didn't answer him and looked down, trying to push the fear away.

Willie smiled at her."Ya know....do you like music?"He asked,and began playing

Jadyn nodded softly, but still didn't speak. SHe hadn't spoken since she woke up from the come. She didn't want to. Sighing as he finished, she looked up at him, her eyes welling with tears.

Hearing his words, she repeated them in her mind, and then looked down. Was this how it was supposed to work? She sighed gently and looked back up, giving a hesitant nod.

(i'm guessing imissmartin quit,so I'm going to post)Jenny tiptoed into the room,and looked at the kids.She walked over and sat next to Jadyn."Poor baby.........."She cooed.

Hunter, a son of Searcher walked into the room, his tail wagged at the sight of a visitor for the young girl named Jadyn. Marlie had gone home with her foster family for the summer and taken Searcher with her, that was right after the pups were weaned, they were all sold but Hunter, Hunter wasn't sold because of his kind nature.

(If you don't know Searcher was a Coonhound that rescued Marlie from a fire.)

The dog's tail wagged affectionatly, walking towards the human, he licked her hand with a wet tounge.

"Oh my gosh,arent you the cutest thing?"Jenny said.Three dogs...?She thought.

Awrf. Hunter howled, sniffing the girl, Jadyn.

Jadyn looked up as another person came in after the man had left. Obviously, he didn't want her. But that wasn't anything new. Sighing softly, she wondered if it was because she didn't talk. She couldn't help it though..she was just frightened of everything new and strange around her. Shaking her head, she looked up at the woman. She instantly felt more comfortable for some reason, and then she heard the words. Poor baby? She was skeptical for a moment, but she didn't say anything in response to the words. She just looked to the floor once more and then saw the puppy walk into the room. Her eyes lit up and she couldn't help but smile. Maybe she could have a friend in this world. Reaching out her hand, she let the woman talk to the dog at first, and then watched as he came over to herself. Her hand went to the pup's head and she stroked him gently. She only needed to be given a chance.
