Ashley felt a tug on her pants she looked down and saw angel looking sad. Ashley picked her up and moved away from the ledge. She craddled Angel in her arms. She kissed the top of her head and sighed slowly rocking.

Angel sighe dhappily and snuggled up to Ashley, looking at the things before her. Layla trotted over, hopping up on the ledge and looking at nothing. She looked at Ashley, her head to aside. What did her human find in this thing?

Ashley smiled at angel and gently stroked her back. She saw layla and let out a deep breath. She smiled at her and said " Hi layla" She smiled and then looked at angel in her arms.

Layla woofed softly and laid on teh ledge, watching her. Angel yawned adn fell asleep. SHe had been sleeping alot lately but that was normal for a puppy.

Ashley smiled at The sleeping Angel. She looked at Layla and smiled also slowly rocking angel. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Layla lifted an ear, listening. Somthng was wrong in the loft. Growling, Layla stood up and looked up at teh loft, her eyes worried. Something was attacking her friends and she couldn't get up there without someoen to open the door. Nervously, Layla paced on teh ledge, growling and when she looked up at teh roof, snarling.

Ashley herd something in the loft to. She smiled then gently layed angel down she ran to it and opened it.(lets just say it was a cat) She let the dog in she saw a few cats attacking the birds. She grabed a cat and sorta threw it out hehe lol. K she was not a cat fan at all. She started chasing others.

Layla snarled and wnet after several cats. One was unfortunate enough to be caught in ehr way adn she broke its back in her jaws, throwing it to aside. She ran into the loft and lept at birds, gauridn teh nests. Her hackles were raised adn she snarled at the things, daring them to try and grab one. The red adn white was wounded and the black one stood before her, his wings raised and pecking at the cats.

Ashley made a disgusted face as she looked at the dead cat layla had got. Ashley ran over to the red and black on she grabed the cats that where attacking them and threw them out. She grabed the last few and threw them out and shut the door.

Layla snorted adn sniffed the nests. The new born was safe but a babe was gotten, its tiny body clawed. Layla whinned softly and nosed the body, her eyes sad. The red adn white, looking up at Ashley, cooed softly and rubbed her head on Ashley's arm, still cooing. The black wasn't completely sure hsi mate was safe and flew to Ashley, ladnign on her sholder to watch his mate.

Ashley looked at layla then the baby she sighed unhappily and said " Its ok layla it was ment to go girl" She said sadly patting her head. She felt something rub on her she looked at the bird and smiled and said "your welcome" She gently rubbed her neck. She saw something on her shoulder and saw her mate and said "she is safe no need to worry" She gently stroked its neck also.

The black closed his eyes happily and fluttered down, pecking at seeds. Almost the instant his feet touch the floor, squeks and cheeps began everywhere, a bunch of babies running at him. He took one look at the group coming to him and fled, flying higher up in the pen. These guys were just from the nests and thought everyne was to feed tehm, parent or no. Layla wuffed softly to the babies and they spread out, some pecking at Layla's toes, others pecking at Ashley. All wanted to be fed and all wanted to be fed NOW.

Ashley laughed as a group ran at the bird. She felt some pecking her she looked down the looked for the food. She just grabbed some bird feed and spread it out for them. She didn't have a clue what to feed them so this will have to do.

The babies looked at the food and then up at Ashley. They continued to sqeuk and cheep, running around and flapping their wings. The red adn white looked at teh food adn then up at Ashley, cooing softly. With a snort, Layla nudged the babies to the food and sat by them, watching them.

Ashley smiled at layla and said Watch them i gotta go get colton She sighed and walked out shutting the door. The cats where gone. She walked into the apartment and over to coltons room, she knocked sorta hard just in case he was sleeping.
