Colton walked inside, Layla by his side, and went into his room, slamming the door shut when Layla got in. Inside, he locked teh door and laying on teh bed, his mind racign. Who was she? Trying to hurt his busniess. SHe didn't hav eto like them, jsut respect them. Sighing, he shook his head adn took out his loft book, checking. Bud and Cross's eggs should hatch soon. That made him happy. Layla hopped onto the bed, the bucket by the door, and sprawled out, falling asleep.

She just barley saw him from the pillow in her face. She sighed and jumped when she herd his door slam she whistled. He got mad easily, Typical guy. She got up and walked into her room. She shut the door nicley. She got changed and walked back out. She walked into the bathroom and started putting on her make up.

Colton went to a desk in hsi room and sat before it, doing paperwork and other things. He had to paper some of his new babies before they got too old. He also had to band them. God it was trouble having Homers and Rollers but it was fun and made him easy money.

Ashley sighed as she finished her makeup. She took a deep breath and let it out. She walked to coltons door and knocked, nicely.

Layla jumped up and barked, standing in defense mode on teh bed. Colton looked up, rbbing his eyes."Yeah?" He began writing his new babe's parents' names on a papering forum. He had to get this doen and sent in.

She jumped when she herd the dog. She sighed and looked at her feet and said "Can i come in?" She asked standing there.

"Sure, fine. Just don't try to swat my bird stuff away." Nodding to Layla, she bounded ot teh door adn opened it, eyeing Ashley. As soon as it was open, she ran over by Colton adn went back into defense mode.

COlton looked at her, hsi face dark."Sorry? Yuo could have hurt them! They are very speical birds." He shook his had."Aww you wouldn't understand." He turned back to his paperwork and went on writing. Layla eyed the girl and snorted, her tail fanning hte air.

COlton shook his head adn went back to his work. Layla looked at her owner snd nuzzled his hand, hopping back onto teh bed adn going to sleep. ANgel looked up at Ashley from teh couch and yipped softly, tilting her head to aside.

Ashley bit her lip gently. She smiled at her puppy she sat beside her and said "looks like colton hates me " She said looking down at her a tear ran down her cheek. She got up and walked out. She walked up to the roof not coltons loft the roof. She sighed and looked down at the road.

Angel growled adn ran after her, yipping. Colton laid his head on the table adn fell asleep, feeling tired. Layla, laying on teh bed, lifted her head and went to teh window, hopping up onto the ledge. She watched Ashley walk away, her head tilted to aside.

She herd angel yipping she just ignored her. She sighed and leaned on the ledge looking down a long way down. She looked back up, She should have just lived with Brook but Brooks boyfriend would probley kill her next time he saw her. She sighed she knew how to mess things up thats for sure. She looked around again and sighed.

Angel caught up with her and tugged on her pant leg, whimpering. Her eyes looked up at Ashley with saddness, wanting her to come back. Layla, snorting, hopped out the window an donto the fire escape, slowly making her way down. Her tail was stiff and her head bobbed softly as she walked.
