Uhh, I was up at the roof with the dogs and layla ran to the loft i ran after her and opened the door and there was like 8 cats attacking the birds, layla killed one, I throwed many out anyways they got one baby but others are ok She said looking at him then to the floor.

Coltn's face paled, getting dangerously white."Wha-wha-what?!" He jumped up and ran to the loft, his heart pounding.

Ashley ran after him and opened the loft door, She sighed and walked in over to the red and white on she was her favorite.

Layla looked up at COlton, her ears flat and her eyes sad. SHe whinnied softly but he ignored her adn went to teh nest. A groan came from him and he touched the dead baby."Oh n.. not my champ's baby.." THe herd of babies attack him, pecking at hsi feet but her ignored him. THe red and white, walking up the network of perches, cooed to her mate, who cooed back.

COlton sighed and picked up the baby."Its not your fault.. I should have left Layla up here to guard teh loft.. thats what she does." A blue bar flew over to him ande landed on his shoulder, preening his ear softly. Colton looked a the bird and smiled."Hey Jack.."

Colton looked a ther and smiled slighty."Spangle. She.. was from my dad.." He looked back at her mate and lifted his hand. The black one flew over and landed on his shoulder."And this is Shadow, her mate."

Spangle hoppe donto it and cooed, scratching ehr head. Colton whistled adn soem of the flock flew to him, perching on them. Some were still scared adn need comfort.
